"demand a trade later".

The silly part about that is, he still wouldn't get traded if he demanded to be. The Cavs intend to go the whole 6 years with him.

every one just wants him to leave so bad. I know we still see reports of him wanting out from "sources" The LA and New York Media want him to play for their teams so bad that they wont ever stop, even if we start winning

I'm pretty sure Kyrie has some name recognition factor going for him after winning the All-Star game MVP last year :chuckles:

Definitely has some but Derrick Rose has been a league MVP. Not saying its a shoe-in for Rose or anything but even coming off of injury I think both will get a lot of votes.

That was not due to name recognition, it was because of Yao being his teammate.

Yao definitely helped no doubt, but name recognition definitely comes into play. I mean AI was voted as an All-Star starter that year.

Any body else love looking at the replies to espns or other sports tweeter accounts saying we signed him? SO many people are butt hurt

Kyrie swingman jerseys are on sale so to commemorate the occasion I went and bought my first active player jersey since Lebron was here. Thanks to the extension I felt like it is a safe investment.

Looks like all are half off.

Anyone have coupon codes :D?

All are half off, but of course there are no more small-medium's left for Kyrie :(

Just dropped $160 on a wine Kyrie Swingman, a yellow Wiggins Swingman (hopefully for a signature), & a white Wiggins (for wearing).

Wanted a Dion, but Id rather get the sure things.

This guy....what an idiot. Does he not realize that Melo had the leverage to get the trade because his Free Agency was approaching in under 2 years?
The statement he makes on Kyrie could be applied to EVERY player in the NBA

My sources tell me that no player will ever live in Cleveland.

In fact, no player ever has.

They actually play the games in Hawaii and the players are simply projected onto the court in the Quicken Loans Arena.

Fun Fact: They use the same technology that has allowed deceased celebrities perform concerts including the late great Tupac Shakur, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. It's amazing how real the game looks in the Q, but if you watch closely you can seem some discontinuity.

Can we just agree to completely ignore anything said by a guy with "Heath" in his name?

Travis Heath is actually imo the smartest journalist in all of the nba. But he is a psychologist first and foremost so I dont ever take his actual nba content all too serious. He is technically right though. Kyrie could pull a Melo, but will he? I dont think so.

He could, but then we'd just tell him no. We have all the leverage now. He's on contract for six more years.

Sure, in 2020, he could pull a Melo. But, he can't do it before then due to the length of his contract. He is going to sign the full blown 5 year contract. Something Lebron never did here. Frankly, nothing to see here. Just butt hurt fans trying to find some solace some how. Btw, he isn't that smart if he is spewing crap like this. He's in denial.

^^ Kyrie's upper body is looking a little more built in that video. ^^

On the Rose Rule... For some reason, I thought you also got the player for an extra year, but apparently not.... That should be something that is added to that rule IMO.
