He's definitely going to have to make more adjustments than LeBron and Love will have to. I really don't see how the team will be effective with Irving running the offense. LeBron will be better off running it since he's the more effective player, and is a proven winner. Irving should take the role of learning from LeBron on how to run the team, and then maybe in their second season together, Irving will take the role as the primary play-maker, but as a championship contender, the team will be better off with LeBron running the show. Waiters and Irving are young, so i think they're going to be frustrated and lashes out this upcoming season about not doing things their own way, etc, but all LeBron have to do is remind them that they've never led the Cavs to the playoffs before, and that will be enough to force them to know their place on the team.

When Coach k was classifying his point guards as pure point guards and combo guards. Coach K put Irving in th epure point guard category.

The problesm with his passing game is that he just needs to tune up some nuances of passing . things like touch and timing. Kyrie is a strong fundamental passer and has extreme confidence in his ability to score (as he should). often this can get him in trouble as he either doesnt make the right pass or forces a bad shot.

ONe thign about the time Kryie was out was the ball was getting distributed and he saw guys convert. it may not have stuck with him but thats something that will stick with him in the offseason.

love will probably be the player that needs to make the least amount of adjustments. whereas Lebron will make some adjustments .

although theres a naive sect that thinks the best player on the team doesnt have to adjust his game to everyone else. Lebron is a smart guy and he wants to win so he will make the appropiatte adjustments.

Most of Kyries deficiencies are a product of how he was used to playing before joining the NBA.

It really helped kyrie alot having ANthony parker share the offense responsibilities with him. It will be even bigger boon to share that offense with lebron because lebron wont have to wait for kyrie to go down to make the right plays. he will take the ball from irving and show him the right way on the court if he needs to.

Irving has a great deal of offensive awareness. he is seeing what he needs to its just been a struggle for him to recognize it or have it consistently net positive results for him to have confidence in it.

dint believe? go to nba,com watch the video or Irvings assist then watch the video on delladovas assist or even waiters or check out curry's and lilliard assist.. youll see the hesitation.

I wouldnt be surprised if Irving comes out of the gate leading the team in scoring as he sees himself passing off the ball and getting back in good situations.

James. I guess that technically makes me a Cavs fan as well because LeBron can't win without a team. I just can't express how great of a player he is. He has the type of impact that only MJ, and a few dominating big men(Shaq, Wilt, Hakeem, Kareem, etc) had. It's rare to see a perimeter player be so effective, and even though he took the year off on the defensive last season, he still had a bigger impact and brought more to the table than Durant did when it mattered the most.

Thanks you for educating us about how great lebron is.. we had no idea .. although I wouldnt exactly characterrize lebron as a perimeter player since he lines up everywhere

Some Cavs fans definitely don't.

If you think that lebron is perfect and deserves nothing but worship and praise. that era is gone in Clevevalnd. lebron is human . he does have his limitation and his own set of fallacies and flaws. the idea or concept that noone else on the team matters because lebron is there is just plain wrong.

Lebron james is not beyond reproach.

eithe lebron is going to adjust his play to ensure this team is the most successful it can be or he doesnt mean anything he says or talks about

No. It really doesn't.

Does that mean that i shouldn't post on here anymore?

Not with that username. And you likely will lose interest because LBJ really doesn't dominate the discussion around here. We usually discuss "the next problem" and not what we know for sure. We know LeBron is sick. No need saying that over and over again.

Believe it or not, I had an account on here before. I just can't remember the username and password, but the database recognized my email address.

If you follow only a player, and not the team, you are just a player fan, not the fan of the team.
