Kyrie Irving

Now I think of it you may have a point. After that 1st quarter the ball movement stopped and you can see Lebrons body language change. It was almost as if he was saying "here you get the ball and do whatever the hell you want with it. Im not going to bail you out".

The point is that even when LBJ is being in passive mode, he still gets to be the mind of the team. We didn't see that today, he just had no participation in the offense whatsoever. Even if we agree that he is hurt, he still would be part of the offense by distributing. Heck even if we agree that his athletiscism is gone (i highly doubt that for a 29 year old), he will still be tremendously effective through other ways. He was off for good tonight and imho that was for a reason. For the younger guys to understund their roles, who will have to be the mind of this team to drive it forward and the inefficiency of iso ball. It's that OR we're kinda screwed a big time...

I'd say that's probably what is going on. And I'm ok with that. I'll take early season losses if it breaks Kyrie of his bad habits down the road. Lloyd quoted LBJ tonight saying "A lot of bad habits have been built up over the last couple of yrs. When you play that style, it takes a lot to get it out of you."

I'd honestly say that's part of the reason he went into super passive mode in the second half. It was sort of a message to Kyrie.
Blatt and Bron will teach him how to play bball.
Also, I think Lebron is putting it as an excuse for being super passive.

This better become "LeBron's team" soon. Handing the keys to Kyrie Irving was a terrible idea.

Yes, we need to pass the keys from one guy with 0 playoffs appearances to another. Great winning strategy.
By your logic Mike Miller would be a better option than Love

Don't worry people, im sure he'll play great vs a bottom feeding Jazz team and a young Trey Burke. Its when he plays a good physical team he shits his pants. We've seen it over the course of his career thus far

Not sure what you're talking about. KI typically elevates his game against good opponents....

Last night he was just off. Through the course of his career, he has had the occasional awful shooting night, regardless of who he plays against.

He has no idea how to be a point guard. He has the vision and ability to make special plays, but he doesn't need to do it every time down the floor. Run a fucking set, and if the ball comes back to you, then do something with it. Last night looked like Kyrie of last year, once he got it, no one else was going to get it.

Only good team he plays well against is OKC. He typically struggles vs the Spurs, Bulls, Heat(with LBJ), Pacers(when Hibbert was good) and his fg% suck against the Clippers and Blazers. He typically thrives off the Jazz and Bucks of the world

You would think he'd get it by now that his way didn't worked in the past and that he needs to instantly make a few sacrifices and adjustments by deferring to the two best players on the team in order to finally be a winner in the league, but no, he's still chucking up shots with 20 seconds on the shotclock and overdribbling the ball for 8+seconds without running any set plays for his teammates.
