Interesting development in the All Star voting. Sounds like Lowry passed Wade in the vote.

That's actually probably good for our guys (Love and Irving) because I doubt Wade gets in as a coaches vote due to their record, at least not over our guys.

Basically frees up a roster spot.

Then guess what happens? The bullseye on our back gets bigger. Anyone with half a set of eyes knows that all 3 of our players aren't deserving.

Is that Love's fault? No. He's a victim of new circumstance, I doubt that alters his view of himself.

Actually, I want Love to get snubbed, because then he'll have a bigger chip on his shoulder; by then we should be feeding him the ball more consistently within the offense.

I think I saw Kevin actually wrap someone up and I burst into exuberance, fucking finally. There should be no reason he doesn't rack up at least 4 fouls a night.

Look man I don't want to flame up on you or get hostile, I'm actually not sure you might be doing an impressive job trolling us all.

This might go down in history someday as one of the dumbest posts of all time. Saying Kyrie lacks feel? Did Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lack feel on the keys too? Jesus.

Gather your thoughts, and come back because what you actually said is probably a lot different than the point you were trying to make. Someone save this post for when Kyrie Irving goes fucking bananas in a playoff game and shoots us to a victory.

Go watch his FIBA world cup championship game. Buckle up. Save this post.

One part troll. One part drunk and pissed after a horrible game. I have a positive view of Kyrie's potential.

However, Kyrie has so many piss poor long stretches of basketball that betting on him during the playoffs would be ill advised.

I watch him and I'm amazed by his talent. I'm not amazed by his drive. He has improved overall this year but I still don't see that bulldog that he's going to need to be in the playoffs. There are games he's been apart of that I literally wonder if he's cut out for this league. My pessimism toward Kyrie isn't out of hate for him, it's the way he approaches the game.

Now, the other night he had 12 assists and I literally could not remember the last game he had that many assists as a point guard. He's taking steps forward, less steps back this time around but I can only form an opinion based on what I've seen for almost 4 years. A lot of it is amazing but there's more disappointment and it's because a guy with his type of talent should be taking over the league but he forces people to question his toughness and basketball IQ with his play.

I would prefer to be that type of fan that can completely forget his flaws when he's playing great in small stretches but I just cannot do it. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't feel he's going to set the world on fire in the playoffs and ultimately might hurt this team.

Best game of the year for Kyrie tonight.

Held Burke to 1-10 shooting, had 5 steals, single-handedly stopped multiple fast breaks for Utah, racked up 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and played smart all night. And that is not even counting him putting up a quiet 18 points on 8-13 shooting and 2-3 from deep.

If he can have the defensive intensity that he showed tonight on a regular basis, we will be a scary team. Great team win, and a great game from Kyrie.

I'm glad that Kyrie is back to playing defense and pressuring his opposing PG.

Delighted with him. He deserved criticism for his play in that stretch of games when LeBron was out but I felt many went over the board in terms of criticism. People forget how young he is. He is 22 and isn't at his peak yet. Once he is more polished with his ability to get others on the floor involved and show the effort on the defensive end like he did today, he is without question an all-star and one of the best guards in the league.

That's 3 consecutive 'above-average' defensive games for Kyrie now. I don't mind if he's still widely considered inept at that end of the floor - we're seeing some serious growth and progression. Confidence really is everything and Ky is playing with it on both ends of the floor. And it's making a huge difference/impact to his overall performance and contribution.

Let's hope he keeps this level of intensity up and doesn't burn out anytime soon.

Love could use the rest. He moves around out there like Dee with her metal scoliosis brace.

So with 7 spots on the Eastern reserve roster left, who gets in out of:
Wade, Bosh, Butler, Teague, Irving, Knight, Horford, Millsap, Vucevic, Love, Drummond

It's crazy but Irving, last year's ASG MVP, might not make the roster this year.
