You don't need long arms to be a good defender. Sure, it helps, but it's not needed for a point guard.

Kyrie is never going to be the best defensive point guard in the NBA, but he does a lot of things very well. He moves better than ever laterally, he harasses passing lanes, and just contests everything lately.

He's been so good, there's no doubt going to be a scouting report of Kyrie's defense, on things guards don't want to do against him.

I notice even when he gets beat by his man, he doesn't just give up, he attacks back, and is contesting dribbles, passing lanes, and just causing a lot of havoc lately.

Before the scouting report was attack him, he flat out blows on that end of the floor.

^^ we lost the games with LeBron because he got injured in the Heat game and was trying to play through it. He left another of those losses with an injury too. Sitting out those games has clearly made a huge difference. Even though we lost the game, by the end of the Suns game we were already a different team than we were before that game started.

He's made our team better, and nobody has benefited more from having LeBron here than Kyrie.

Really love what I saw from Lebron when Kyrie hit that 3 to put us up 10 late in the game. He really has embraced Kyrie as a running mate. The chemstry is looking great.

He's got quick hands. Not surprising with his dribbling ability but this year he's using that hand speed to get a lot of steals or knocking the ball out without having to gamble. This is a big plus (it's an odd thought but I bet he'd be an amazing table tennis player)

Kyrie Irving will go down as the best point guard in Cleveland Cavalier history.

Well, I still think they'd have been better off building the team around Dion....

He fills the whatever role the Cavs need on a given night. Amazing talent and a very intelligent guy.

I don't want to hear anymore talk of Irving not being an elite point guard in this league or not being an All-Star.

What he has done the past two nights is the stuff of legends, especially tonight.

Oh, and Lillard was 4/19 with 14 points tonight, for those of you who care about those things.

What an incredible effort he's given the past two nights. To go out and torch two teams consecutively like he has is just incredible.
