Well, Kyrie just quietly wrapped up one of the best age-22 seasons by a guard in league history.
Statistically while his raw production slightly dropped from last year his efficiency shot through the roof: to average a 22/5/3 on 47/42/86 splits is just shit-in-your-pants good. Only three other players, regardless of age, have managed to pull it off: Larry Bird, Steph Curry, and Chris Webber.
And Kyrie just turned 23!!!
Hopefully he gets the 3rd team All-NBA to show for it, but if he does get snubbed we can at least take solace in the fact the only other players to make three All-Star games at the same age were Isiah Thomas and Kobe Bryant. Jesus, now that's some company.
Can't wait to see what Kyrie does for us in the playoffs, but regardless of how far we go it's been a treat watching Kyrie take his game to a whole other level.
