Either way I'm good. Ban me and I'll live lol.

...and we got by just fine without you. So it cuts both ways. Be polite, because reviewing your posts, you weren't.

If you have read the posts like you say you have then you've seen I've only posted my opinion and have stated myself that I've been met with the mob mentality no matter how many times I've said I am just posting my opinion and that two people can have separate opinions.

For that I've been called shit, told to fuck off, and a few other things including being accused of trolling and claiming to be someone else and called creepy. If you think that's the side you want to be on then go ahead and ban me, again.

I am a Cavs fan, I work in professional basketball and generally only post good reliable analysis. At least what I can post without breaking NDA's or information we charge for.

Just because I've drawn my own opinion about Kyrie and think he's doing the right thing for himself (and BTW I think the team could come out better for this, especially if Love is made the second option) does not mean I'm not going to root and watch the Cavs.

It's your forums and I'll respect whatever decision you make. I just haven't talked to one person that hasn't personally attacked me for my opinion and now you are saying that I'm the bad guy for defending myself.

If there are more like you and the maybe two other people that aren't acting like attack dogs I would be less inclined to paint this forum with a broad stroke.

Since I started this post I got a 4 day ban for pretending to be a long time poster. I'm not. This has been my forum name on multiple sites for years. If it's someone else's name it should be taken and not available in the first place. I've never claimed to be anyone else!

All I did was post my opinion and I got jumped on and cussed out like I stated before. I never got personal with anyone or did anything rude. I just pointed out the truth. Yet I'm the one that got the ban so seriously everything I said about this site and your sensitivity to different opinions or new people is obviously true.

I pretty much expect another ban, maybe permanently because that's easier than having a real opinion and an actual discussion while actually being able to respect other people. And that's fine if that's the only way the site knows how to handle anyone with a good ability to debate about facts. Without getting emotional and resorting to personal attacks. I can't state that any more clearly. I'm the one that was attacked by the mob mentality of this board and I was banned. Maybe that's something you might want to consider or think about instead of telling me I'm in the wrong and need to change. If you want more diversity.

Either way I'm good. Ban me and I'll live lol. Keep me around and actually try to have a discussion and some of us, including myself, might learn something. I'm not infallible but I'm definitely confident in my basketball knowledge. But I'm not too stubborn to accept differing opinions and allow them to change my own.

I find it amazing that a simple post about Irving resulted in this much hate. Ridiculous.

Good grief man, even in an attempt to try to be humble this post is dripping with snark.

Your post reads "hey it's not me, it's everyone else."

If everyone is attacking you, perhaps your analysis isn't as good as you think it is. I realize you're patting yourself on the back for your work but perhaps your message could use some improvement or your tone needs an adjustment.

So back to Kyrie Irving...

If part of the problem is LeBron's perception of Kyrie. That should be hammered out. If this is Kyrie wanting more respect I cant imagine LeBron not being willing to concede. He has before, Ive seen him praise Kyrie numerous times. Rightfully so.

If we keep Kyrie, its on Lue to reroute the offense to flow through Kyrie.
LeBron is getting old anyway. Make kyrie the focal point. It would up his trade value as a bonus.

To me a lot of the Kyrie wasn't getting enough respect narrative is revisionist history. LeBron talked about how great Kyrie was in countless interviews, described him as a future MVP, and even waxed poetic about how Kyrie is a role model for his son. And on the court Kyrie got plenty of opportunities and a very high usage. I do think Kyrie is in for a rude awakening wherever he goes. He is gonna put up some absurd stats I'm sure, but there are years and years of evidence that Kyrie as the featured player sans LeBron doesn't translate to wins.

It's all smoke and mirrors. Everybody is overthinking this, it's not that he wants to carry a team as the lead guy, it's that he doesn't want to have a role in catering to LeBrons legacy. LeBron then rightfully got upset about Kyrie making this about him (unfair somewhat because the franchise will always be about him hence the rift). That was the most poignant things that Griffin illuminated about this entire saga. On a few of the suggested teams he is probably slotted as the second best player.

Griffin placed blame on himself for not developing players which cultivated bad habits that resulted in losses when LeBron was out. The lack of defensive players on the roster wasn't great but I did feel like Griffin was taking a few shots at Lue (I will have to rewatch it again) for poor game planning without LeBron. Most of the teams he selected also had strong disciplined coaches so maybe he doesn't see Lue as any different than Scott or Brown and doesn't think he can help him get to the next level.

Griffin unwilling to speak on the destination but confident and transparent about being certain Kyrie will be traded makes me believe it's over. We've reached a point of irreconcilable differences where Kyrie's insatiable ambitions have collided with LeBrons overwhelming and at times overbearing greatness.

I don't understand this one bit...LeBron's and Kyrie's legacies could be inextricably tied together, not independent from one another. Sure, LeBron will have his own as an all-time great and arguably the GOAT (Kyrie having an issue with this is absurd since he's made clear on many occasions how much he appreciates LeBron's abilities.)

But LeBron and Kyrie have the potential to be one of the great duos. With one title under their belt they're already well on their way.

Kyrie owned the unanimous MVP in 2016 and heard Cavs fans saying he was better the Steph. So yea I get how he'd think "why cater to LeBron's legacy?"

Honestly, BOS has the best to offer imo. If we were to trade, that would be the best pieces imo.

I.T, Crowder? Why not?

Sounds intriguing until you realize that IT is rendered useless in the playoffs while Crowder becomes useless in the playoffs.

Top that off with IT being up for a max extension next season and Ainge probably waffling anyways, Boston can go fuck themselves.

I would not say he is useless, and Crowder is still a solid defender. I.T was good enough to get to the conference finals, that has to say something about him. He cant outright replace Irving, but this, imo, is the best we can do; realistically. I would do this trade.

He's 5'8. Steps can shoot right over him without any issue. And just imagine the horror of him getting switched onto KD. He got to the ECF because john wall can't shoot.

Seeing all these "trying to work it out" articles. Is it just me, or does anyone else think they shouldn't try to work it out? The flood gates are open, and if we are to change anything. Now is the time. If we can get a good enough package back, I think our best route moving forward is to deal Kyrie. As it stands, he is pretty much our only asset that can get anything decent in return.

And as currently constructed we have no shot vs GS anyhow, barring any major injury. Do we really want to take a chance that LeBron leaves, and then talk Kyrie back into playing out his contract only to bolt the season after? From this point forward, Kyrie's trade value is only going to get lower. Sure we can deal him next year if LeBron leaves, but we would be looking at only picks pretty much for a 1 year rental.
