Expecting Dion to "show us what he can do" right now is a huge mistake. He's just not there yet. I want to see him make the most of his time learning, not forcing up low-percentage shots after blowing ten seconds trying to beat his man off the dribble.

I just see Dion deferring more often than i would prefer. I'd like to see what he can do when he isn't trying to "fit in" with Kyrie. It's not like his shot selection is stellar at the moment anyway, and I do not see this team winning regardless. I am of the opinion that we need some real veteran, vocal, leadership. Personally I do not see Kyrie as a leader on this team at all. I see him as the best player on this team and everyone on the team knows it.

how will he be out of shape... its a finger ... he can still do all the non ball practices and im sure he will.

Yes, I know. That was my point. It's painfully obvious at this point that the kid doesn't take his conditioning seriously, even though he openly talks about it being an issue last year. His endurance is pretty weak and I mostly fault that for his terrifyingly bad defense. He was pretty damn out of shape coming off his broken hand...why wasn't he just getting into fantastic physical condition while he was sitting out for that??

Sorry. I love the kid and his game, but I truly think he slacks a bit when it comes to fitness because he can burn so many with his skills regardless.

He played perfectly fine yesterday and now he's out for 4weeks.

The tank is trill.

No, he played like shit yesterday. It seemed pretty obvious that his head was elsewhere or something was bothering him.

Irving smokes weed. That's to blame for his short wind. As for the injury I'm almost certain he could and would play if we were a good team with playoff hope. Its best to let it heal properly. I jammed my finger over a year ago and it still hasn't healed right.

This team is fucked. So great probably another high draft pick, I can't wait. Maybe Grant will take a reach at another player that might add up. People want to see a team built from the ground up and I want to see winning basketball in Cleveland. This team is fucked for the next three years. At this point, I don't care how its done, just put some players on the court who are not steaming piles of horse shit. This team is pitiful just like that wreak of football team by the lake. Die hard Cleveland fan but right now, FUCK CLEVELAND!!

-Extended audition to all playoff teams for one Mr Daniel "Boobie" Gibson

-Tank is full effect, pad the losses for a top 3-5 draft pick.

Don't know about that. Yesterday was probably the worst game he's played since sometime in the middle part of last season. I'm not just talking about his lack of points, but just watching him... He didn't look comfortable out there like he almost always does. I chalked it up to this ridiculous schedule the league office has given us to start the season, but I noticed something that didn't look right.

Now, it makes more sense. Yes, if this were a critical juncture of the season or playoffs, I doubt he would sit and definitely not for four weeks... But, we are 2-8, it is the beginning of the season, and he's the future of the franchise. No need to risk this becoming something that might actually be a long-term issue just to make the team more interesting to watch through mid-December.

It definitely sucks for us fans, because I've really actually enjoyed watching this team so far this year despite their record, but I think this is the right move if you step back and look at the bigger picture.

Yes, this is clear mismanagement by Grant and the organization. The purposefully caused Kyrie to break his finger. Hell, I heard Gilbert did it himself when he got wind that LBJ might be in the next Uncle Drew commercial.

Furthermore, Kyrie was def not a reach at #1, Zeller def not a reach at #17, and Dion doesn't look like much of a reach at #4. So a team possibly missed on one of 4 draft picks? Crazy. Unheard of.
