Kyrie out 4 weeks with hairline fracture of left index finger

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

So, let's be honest here, hurt last season, hurt in the summer league, hurt again this season. That doesn't look good.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

This team is fucked. So great probably another high draft pick, I can't wait. Maybe Grant will take a reach at another player that might add up. People want to see a team built from the ground up and I want to see winning basketball in Cleveland. This team is fucked for the next three years. At this point I don't care how its done just put some player who aren't steaming piles of horse shit, on the court who are winners. This team is pitiful just like that wreak of football team by the lake. Die hard Cleveland fan but right now, FUCK CLEVELAND!!

This is the last year of the tank mode.

If this team doesn't look drastically better next year, they are going to start to lose the fans.

People understood we needed a rebuild and that it takes time, but if they aren't at least contending for a playoff spot in the 4th season after Lebron left then we need a new set of decision makers.

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

So how serious is this finger and how did it happen?

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

So looking on the bright side:

-Extended opportunity for Dion to try his hand as go to guy

-Extended audition to all playoff teams for one Mr Daniel "Boobie" Gibson

-Tank is full effect, pad the losses for a top 3-5 draft pick.

Am I missing anything?
Why must we always look on the bright side and be happy with what we have while the rest of the league is laughing and walking all over us. It's time for a change. Lets see some fire. Get some guys who want to win have talent. Cometely fed up with Cleveland sports

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Ah yes I remember when I said it looks like he'll be injury prone after the hand injury... Is it still too early to say it no, or should I wait until he gets injured again? The only positive thing about this is that it is a finger not a hand. An injury prone person doesn't have to be injured in the same way every time folks.

Chris Grant is playing a game far more advanced than any other GM in the league knows exists.

Meanwhile elsewhere GM's think this is cutting edge...

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Anyways now I'm definitely hoping for an Andy trade. Better be quick before he gets his yearly injury. Now that we aren't playing for anything I can't stand to see some sort of young talent on this team even if it ends up in painful ball on the court. Anything will be more exciting than what we are about to endure for a month

Don't forget hurt and missing most of his only year in college.

While none of these are on their own a big deal, I am actually more concerned over the fact he seems to be as brittle as he is that he keeps hurting at least something every season.

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

So...

1. The tank is in full speed
2. Should probably sell high on Varejao now for sure
3. Let Waiters loose
4. I hate to say it, but Kyrie seems injury prone
5. Did I mention tank? Last years was cute, but this years will be like never before seen.

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Yes, this is clear mismanagement by Grant and the organization. The purposefully caused Kyrie to break his finger. Hell, I heard Gilbert did it himself when he got wind that LBJ might be in the next Uncle Drew commercial.

Furthermore, Kyrie was def not a reach at #1, Zeller def not a reach at #17, and Dion doesn't look like much of a reach at #4. So a team possibly missed on one of 4 draft picks? Crazy. Unheard of.
Let me know when we are in the playoffs and win a series with these players because until then you statement doesn't mean shit.

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

We could have had Bynum too. That would have been amazing.

Seriously with a Bynum trade, and Kyrie's injury would an 0-30 start have been that unrealistic? Put those Bobcats to shame.

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Suggested nick name: Kyrie "Hurting" Irving

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Hopefully he's back by the the Hawks game I'm going to in late December :(

Re: Kyrie out 4 weeks with contused left index finger

Hope everyone is happy with losing for the next three years because I'm not.

What the hell are you talking about? You want some vet FAs? You want us to shore up the bench with some better scrubs? The way you get star talent is by collecting assets and making a trade, overpaying in free agency, or through the draft. We have a ton of assets and might be huge players at the deadline, we have a ton of cap space next summer if you're on the overpay for FA's bandwagon, and we have a ton of draft picks. These things take time.

You should sit the next few plays out. You sound like a girl right now...sports knowledge wise and obnoxious complaining wise.
