It was reported that an episode of KUWTK is what set him off on Sunday night. They're reality stars...that's super...great for them. But, if they cared about him more than their ratings, they would've stopped referencing him in their show. They knew what was going on, they knew his history. Wish him well, offer to help, but keep him out of the show. Addicts have triggers. Being portrayed the way he was on the show is a pretty big trigger. Now they are going to play the victim role and talk about how much they love him and how they're so devastated. They only love themselves, fame and money...not Lamar.

Lamar Odom lost it Sunday ... and the trigger was an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Sources at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South tell us, Lamar seemed normal during his stay until he got a call from someone about the show. Some of the women who were around Lamar say he became irate, complaining about the way he had just been portrayed on the show.

As for what was on the show ... Khloe got 2 calls from Lamar. When she got off the phone Kim criticized Khloe for being flirty with Lamar. In another clip, Lamar called Khloe to tell her that his good friend Jamie had died. When she got off the phone she worried Lamar might spin out of control. And in another scene Khloe fled a club after she heard Lamar was trying to get in.

We're told Lamar remained upset until he was found unconscious.

Up until getting the call, people at the Ranch say Lamar was "chill." There was no evidence he had been high on drugs or alcohol. We're told when he arrived Saturday, he ordered a single bottle of cognac and when he was found unconscious a third of the bottle was left.

Oh i agree that legally they did nothing wrong. But from i'm hearing in the NBA circle, he begged her not to include him in the show and to stop taping his conversations. Then when he saw he was included, he lost his shit. Note: i havent seen the episode.

I know he obviously signed a release. For me, it's not an issue of what they could have done, but what they should've done. They should've left him out...if they were decent caring human beings.

I think it is kind of harsh to blame this one on the Kardashians all though i do despise them.

The main reason the marriage had issues was his dependency and the reason the divorce took longer is she was trying to give him every chance to get clean.

He didnt use because of the Kardashians, he used because he was raised by drug addicts and he couldn't beat his past unfortunately.

This is more of a case of a Kardashian being attracted to a "bad boy" not turning him into a bad boy.

Fuck the Kardashians. They are literally famous for doing nothing (ok sorry, I forgot Queen Slut Kim made a sex tape with Ray J), yet society treats that family like the American version of the Royal Family. They're an absolute embarrassment to our society as a whole.

And @godfather nailed it by saying it's aggravating as hell that the media refers to this guy as a Kardashian reality star rather than a great basketball player. A 2x champion and Sixth Man of the Year. Plus, by RAPM, he seemed to have infinitely more impact on the court than what went recognized. I remember he would always kill the Cavs when he played us.

I hope he pulls through, though I realize even if he does, he'll unfortunately never be able to function like a normal human being again. Yeah, he made some bad decisions in his life, but depression is no joke, and this would be a sad way to go.

And someone needs to get Khloe and her fucking cameras out of that hospital. All they see this situation as is a way to get some rating for their show and get some publicity. A man's life is on the line.

I don't care if Lamar wasn't perfect. People aren't perfect, and everyone battles their own demons. The guy had a substance problem and was trying to put his life together.

I guess he was doing much better too, until the Kardashians help set him off the edge.

I mean they are enablers. It's not their fault he has an addiction problem, but they sure as hell don't make his life any easier either.

This is just the saddest way for a guy to go. It doesn't sound good. I am praying like hell he pulls through and can get his life together.

If anything.. reading some of these comments make me appreciate the fact there are decent human beings on this forum. GENUINE ass people who can feel compassion and remorse for others. You go and take a look at any comment section of articles on MSN, Facebook, Twitter, etc. and it's astounding how many hateful, disgusting people are out there in this world. News surfaced earlier this week that pro-basketball player Lamar Odom was rushed to a hospital after a suspected drug overdose. Family and friends, including Kobe Bryant and members of the Kardashians, rushed to Odom’s side once they learned of his tragic condition. But one person isn’t buying this support.

Master P shared his thoughts on those who are by Odom’s side, stating that it seems disingenuous. “So many phony and fake people out here now, and it goes to show when something happens to you, everybody is your friend, everybody loves you, but was that true? I don’t think so,” he said to TMZ. “I’m talking about Kobe. All this man wanted to do was play basketball. Kobe was his friend … Kobe, like, owns the team. He could’ve got the man back on the team… if you cared about him that much, why didn’t you get him into training camp.”

Master P, who’s been friends with Odom for over 15 years, said the athlete had a desire to get back on the court. But he also feels the NBA “blackballed” Odom because of his appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “[Odom] thought that show was going to help him after basketball,” Master P said. “Now you have all these people that loved you, talk all this stuff about you, how they missed you, how you’re the best basketball player, but when you were around you had no love.”

Many NBA players sent their well wishes for Odom’s recovery in a series of tweets. From Dwayne Wade to Vince Carter, the league’s athletes each shared their sentiments on this occurrence. “I truly hope this isn’t the last stop for you because you still have so much to give, not even to others but to yourself more importantly,” LeBron James wrote.

Lamar Odom was feeling the pressure of reality TV infamy in the weeks before his overdose, RadarOnline.com has learned, and repeatedly begged his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian to stop filming their phone calls forKeeping Up With The Kardashians. But he was unsuccessful — and now, an insider insists, the Kardashians “have blood on their hands!”

In the weeks leading up to Odom’soverdose at a brothel, he had “pleaded with Khloe to stop having the production crew from KUWTK film their phone conversations,” an insider told Radar. “He wanted them to remain private. But he was powerless to stop it because Lamar had previously signed off on having phone calls recorded when he was married to Khloe, and part of the show.”

Indeed, phone calls from Odom were featured on just last week’s episode ofKUWTK.

“Khloe would either ignore the texts and voice mail messages asking her to stop, or she would tell him, ‘You owe me this after you humiliated me by cheating with other women,'” the source claimed.

“Lamar had no idea that he was going to be Khloe’s storyline during the past season. She is always talking about how much she loves the guy, but has no problem exploiting Lamar for her gain. How low can Khloe go? Lamar would call her sobbing about losing his best friend this past summer, and the first thing she thinks is to document it?”

“He’s distraught and devastated,” Khloe said on the show of the scene with sobbing Odom. “Anything could send him to spiral and that’s the last thing I want for him.”

But was it another reality show appearance that sent him off the deep end? Just days later he would be hospitalized after an overdose.

“The Kardashians all have Lamar’s blood on their hands,” the source insisted, claiming they “demonized and exploited him for their stupid show.”

Meanwhile, Khloe has been making medical decisions for Odom, because their divorce still hasn’t been finalized.
