Larry Sanders Show anyone?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Gery Woelfel

Sources tell me that Bucks center Larry Sanders recently told some Bucks officials that he doesn't want to play basketball anymore.

Some friends of Sanders told me last summer they were concerned Sanders wasn't committed to basketball and wanted to explore other options
.

to quote Kenny Smith: It's Over. we can officially scratch him off the list (of potential centers).

Can probably go ahead and stick a fork in whatever chances the Cavs had at trading for John Henson, too.

I wonder if Milwaukee might make a move on Samuel Dalembert when/if he gets waived.

from hh: "Sanders just doesn't want to play basketball anymore." Sounds like Bynum to me

I think Noel might be an option.

Milwaukee is the land of incredible depth at PF/C. They might go after Dalembert, but what is the point of spending more money at center for one year if they are headed for the lottery?

Welp, there goes one option out the already slim pool that we had.

Will have to see how that plays out, considering they are currently sitting sixth in the conference.

But do they need a center, or do they need scoring?

From tonight's AP Bucks summary.

A bright spot for the Bucks was the return of center Larry Sanders, even if he was in street clothes and sitting on the bench. He missed his seventh consecutive game due to, at first, the flu but since then for personal reasons.

"It feels great to be around the guys again," Sanders said. His last game was Dec. 23, and he said rumors he might even quit basketball weren't true.

"But, what is true," he said, "is that I'm in the process of working things out now to do as best for my psyche and my physical health going forward. There's a lot of evaluating going on."

We brought in J.R Smith so why not Sanders... As I got done thankful the talk might be done we get Smith and this thread shows up. I feel like I am in bizzaro world.

One coach killer is enough. I hope Larry Sanders gets the prescription he needs, but no GM should touch that contract for the next 3 years.

Wait, the guy who started this thread is the guy going off on Dellavedova? So he loves 11 million dollar a year crazy people who don't play due to schizophrenia, but Delly sucks?!? Wow.
