LeBron James Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's a big difference between being elite in 8th grade and being elite as a HS junior/senior. Some guys take longer to grow into their bodies/games. Most recent example would be a guy like Markelle Fultz, one of the best guards in the 2016 class. He's a national top 10 level player but didn't even play varsity basketball until his junior year of high school. His recruitment blew up in between his junior and senior year on the AAU circuit.

Not saying James'/Wade's sons won't be DI level players, but basing it on pee-wee videos is ludicrous.

It is, but it is more just for fun to think about. The fact they got this kind of court vision already is pretty insane though as we can already see an advanced feel for the game at an early age. And knowing the genetics of their dad and the resources available, they could be good. In the event they are good, it will be cool to look back.

Really, I just wanted to keep track of the new highlight reels that will come out over each year because it will be cool to track the progress. In this day and age where everything is on video, this is crazy to me.

Speaking of which, let me throw this in here while I'm at it. This is probably like healthy NBA three range:

For what it's worth, our local sport down here has a stipulation by the name of the 'Father-son rule.' FYI:

The father–son rule is a rule that allows clubs preferential recruiting access to the sons of players who have made a major past contribution to the team in Australian rules football, most notably the Australian Football League.

IMO, should be implemented in the NBA prior to LBJ Jr.'s declaration for the NBA Draft :chuckle:. I don't even care if he's not as awesome one day as he looks right now - this would just be super cool for nostalgic value.

or because he didnt take midseason sabbaticals in Miami during high school

no, Lebron was HUGE for a high schooler. He was 235-240 in HS and his growth to 265-270 is pretty natural for aging from 17 to 27. He was only 'skinny' in HS compared to his current size. He was already midcareer NBA size for a SF. Maybe even bigger.

This should totally happen.

Idk man

LeBron weighed 242 at the pre draft camp. He's never looked as heavy as he is, probably has very dense muscle mass.

He weighs 250 now.

If you think the kid in the pic above is only ten pounds lighter than present James, you are incorrect

Also the less fat you have, you bigger you look. Brad Pitt was 160lbs in fight club. That is the equivalent of James current weight when adjusting for height

That isn't Lebron as a senior. This is him as a sophomore or junior. He weighed 245 lbs at the combine as an 18 year old only a couple months removed from high school.

Are there better pictures? Really hard to make anything out in that one

You can tell how powerful his legs are built. The combine numbers are always accurate. It's hard to believe that he put on significant weight only a couple months removed from high school. He was the size of a veteran power forward as a senior.

There was never anything like him in high school.

Only 2.5 more years until he is in High School. That's when the madness will really start. May the best private HS recruiter win.

What's the story behind Jeffrey and Marcus Jordan giving up on basketball a few years ago?

LeBron's kids will either go to Revere or St. V
