LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's a pretty solid rumour that MJ played baseball for 2 years because he was actually suspened for gambling

HUGE win.

Not only do we advance, but we may have dealt a death blow to our biggest conference rival.

Fantastic.

The real question is, Are we still at Peak LeBron or is this the beginning of his decline?
I would give him next year to elevate his game with this still very new roster. Remember, 2011 Lebron was nothing special (by his 09, 10 standards) either. Its an adjustment year.

Drunkards, lol.

Is that Griffin slowly fading into the background behind them and trying to act like he isnt involved?

Yes it is lol. I just saw that.

Fantastic.

This feels like when LeBron beat the Pistons in 2007 to go to the Finals. How does Chicago come back from this? Their window has never been more wide open than when Kevin Love ran to the locker room holding his shoulder, and they still couldn't even force seven games against LeBron. They let an undrafted sophomore be the best player in an elimination game. They quit, and LeBron slammed close another window.

By "solid", do you mean ridiculous?

It's not ridiculous and it's been a rumour for a long time. Just type Michael Jordan gambling into Google

Lol. That is ridiculous.

Why the fuck would the league and David Stern suspend its icon for that long over something like that? Michael Jordan was their money-puller. He was the one who transcended the NBA to globally. So, the idea that a league would suspend its best player for almost two years is bonkers. There were some HGH and drug rumours bullshit being floated around as well. The way I see it, Jordan simply wanted a break. Which is something, we all do in our respective lives. Both physically as well as mentally. LeBron effectively did the same in that two odd weeks break.

LeBron shot just under 40% from the field and just 10 % from three for the series!!!!

Yet, he still averaged 26/11/9/2/2

Incredible.

I'm hoping LeBron got his "bad streak" out of the way and that law of averages he'll be incredible the next two rounds.

We're going to need him to shoot better going forward.

It's David Stern, you don't mess with Stern even if you are MJ. He is known for his gambling and having him play baseball for 2 years does give him the break but it also makes sense to disguise a suspension as wanting to play baseball. Jordan is an asshole and a terrible person so I'm not sure why people think he wouldn't get in trouble with the league. There were no rumours of HGH or drugs for him retiring the first time, just gambling
