The Cavs fanbase is severely underrated IMO.

And yes. I think this did ruin the NBA in the short term.

I think it's more of a result of LeBron moving to a team on pacific time than anything else. People on the east coast don't want to stay up until 1:00 in the morning to watch regular season games. LeBron is so polarizing that both his fans and his haters want to watch him, but now they're asleep when he plays.

The problem with LeBron on the West Coast for the NBA is that there is no other player who regularly plays at the 7:30/8 pm national tv slot that draws the ratings he did. Maybe Giannis can eventually get there but he isn’t there yet. And because that early national tv slot is when the whole country is watching, NBA ratings have gone down as a result.

The problem with LeBron on the West Coast for the NBA is that there is no other player who regularly plays at the 7:30/8 pm national tv slot that draws the ratings he did. With Giannis, Embiid they should be two guys with the personality and game to carry the torch and along with the Celts. But then you have problems: the Raptors and Leonard are never going to be ratings draw. Indiana is an similar boat. Then the other playoff teams are BRK (wtf?), Hornets, and Miami which are 3 teams no one gives a fuck about.

Not having the Knicks and Bulls be anywhere close to watchable (i.e. two of the 3 biggest cities prime teams with huge diasporas) be sucky is the coup de grace. Essentially Lebron leaving was always going to be an issue but the disparity in terms of talent from east to west is what still is being exposed

Is Lebron a full blown racist now? Seems like hes getting close. Its comical how he is just tanking this year waiting on his superteam hopes for next year. All kinds of behind the scenes colluding going on right now. Lebron is Mr. Superteam. He started that trend. He will get his AD and Kemba type combo and try really hard again. Thank god he will be 35 next year and this wont go on much longer. LA Lebron has become a real asshole.
