LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Because you don't accuse the NBA's darling of HGH. It's been pretty obvious for years he was juicing. Suddenly the year they are going to test for it is when he loses weight, goes back home where the media WILL keep his secrets. Blah, it's all been so obvious.

His powerplay backfired in his face, now he's backpedaling to save face.

This dog and pony show has already gotten old.

the only reason i dont like the HGH angle, is at least the last i heard there are some reasonable doubts it has any impact on performance.

that said it wouldnt surprise me in the least. i do think lebron pushed himself way to hard in the offseason, and its lead to future problems. my hope is that when he gets himself healthy he can actually go back to being lebron

LeBron is not leaving and we're not firing Blatt thirty games in.

Stop it.
This. Has everyone jumped off the deep end? I know we on the die-hard Cavs fan forum love overreacting to the day to day happenings that go on with this team, but let's get some perspective here.

LeBron is not going to accept "defeat" and leave Cleveland again after a single year after those massive Nike marketing campaigns, his brand image, and a million other reasons. He may pull various threats to try and get his way, but he's not leaving.

And unless the situation gets far worse with Blatt than it is currently, he's not getting fired any time soon.

I seem to remember his name being connected to the clinic where A-Rod got busted, but I think the consensus was that we wouldn't hear about it since the clinic was located in Miami. I might be remembering it wrong. Always thought HGH was best at limiting the amount of recovery time needed, not an actual performance enhancer.

It's not over-reacting to say that LeBron is power-playing the Cavs re: Blatt. It's also not over-reacting to say it's possible Gilbert would consider firing Blatt if LeBron forced his hand.

It's also not over-reacting to say that LeBron would contemplate leaving Cleveland after two years if the situation wasn't ideal. I mean...were you guys here a few years ago?

I doubt he'd leave, but you should be mentally prepared for the idea that he could. He certainly doesn't feel that he owes you anything, regardless of what that letter that was written for him said.

draw your own conclusions... makes you think it could be possible to say they least...

http://www.totalprosports.com/2013/...d-clinic-miami-report-incarcerated-bob-video/

Well, there’s one source out there on the internet who claims that he has uncovered definite evidence linking LeBron James to the infamous miami clinic run by biochemist Anthony Bosch. A guy who goes by the name of Incarcerated Bob and runs the self-titled website Incarcerated Bob’s Sports Wrap claims to have interviewed a woman who used to work for Anthony Bosch. And that woman, who we know only as Jessica, claims that payments were made to the clinic from a man she called “Mr. Paul” for somebody with the initials LJ.

Now, as you may or may not know, LeBron’s close personal friend and agent is a guy named Rich Paul. So Incarcerated Bob makes the logical inference that this Mr. Paul must be Rich Paul, and that the LJ must be LeBron James.

Yuck, it was an iBob report that linked LBJ to that clinic. Scratch that
LOL.

I'll get to ICB in a minute, but what kind of moron would go by his initials and have his AGENT PAY WITH HIS REAL NAME???? You don't think at the very least "Mr. Paul" could've sent, like, Mr. Johnson, the intern that picks up their lunch order to make the payment? :chuckle:

"Uh yeah, is this the Bosch clinic? I'd like to schedule an appointment for Mister, um, Sharmelo Cranthony. Yes, and my wife, um MaMa... will be by with the payment shortly afterward."

I believe we heard someone say, on camera, the other day "I may not have gone to college, but I'm not stupid."

Also, anyone who followed LeBron Watch this summer should've seen first hand how ICB operates.

His sole purpose is gambling, and gaming the gambling system.

Anyone remember when everyone was watching the betting lines like a hawk of where LeBron would end up? Anybody remember that tweet that went out late Thursday night before he put the letter out? It said someone got word that Micky Arison was calling investors and minority owners and telling them that LeBron had recommitted to Miami.

Well that tweet was put out by someone in the ICB network (and obviously it wasn't true), but suddenly the money swung hard away from LeBron returning here for about 30 minutes, and you can imagine where all of their money went real quick. :detective:

A couple of notable points in this article: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-for-cleveland-cavs-after-lebron-james-injury

  • This year's Cavaliers are not theMiami Heat of the last two seasons. That team mustered a 7-4 record without James over that span. These new-to-each-other Cavaliers are already 0-3 without their veteran mastermind.
  • The Cavaliers are also being outscored by 8.8 points per 100 possessions in the 453 minutesthey've played without James, compared to the plus-4.7 they post with him on the floor.
  • Basically, without him, their net rating goes from that of the Chicago Bulls (plus-4.7) to that of the New York Knicks (minus-8.3), who have the Association's most losses.
  • Kevin Love is shooting just 40 percent when James is on the bench.

That's not only from an incredibly small sample size, but it's also not taking into account that it's still the first half of the first season with these guys together. For example, in James' first year in Miami, he missed back-to-back games after the team's 40th game of the season. The Heat were 0-2 in those games and were outscored by a combined 31 points vs. the Nuggets & Bulls.

This Cleveland team without James is still better than the Heat without James last year. If anything, this two week stretch will give them the chance to prove that.

Mark Jackson? I'm down.

I wish we would have gone for him in the summer instead. I like Blatt, but Jackson took a Warriors team from below average to playoffs worthy in the Western conference. They also turned into one of the better defensive teams in the league. And you can bet he had a hand in the development of Steph Curry. With Kyrie being our most important player, and shooting consistency being one of our biggest issues, I feel like the Cavs minus LeBron would majorly benefit from his coaching. This isn't the ragtag bunch Blatt is used to coaching. This is the NBA, where egos are as big as the salaries. And having a team with superstars means there's more pressure from the organization as well as the fans to not bench them when they're being dipshits, so Blatt isn't able to effectively coach using his style.

I'm not sure what will have more turnover in Cleveland. Coaching or quarterbacks?

Mark Jackson has some strengths, but you better believe he has some weaknesses. Among his biggest weaknesses is working well with ownership and the GM. I really don't know how well that will work in the current Cavaliers dynamic.

There are reasons the Warriors are a much better team this year than last year. The offensive strategy has a lot to do with it.

Additionally, encouraging any actions from players to fire a coach again... after doing it two years in a row... can't be a step in the right direction. This is the coach for the rest of the 2015 season. Why waste another season not getting coaching, not giving coaching a chance? Everything that is wrong with the younger players will only be multiplied and pushes winning off.

Without much roster turnover the warriors are atop the West after being the sixth seed last year.

There defense is still elite with Kerr but their offense skyrocketed.

I feel like Jackson was an underachiever
