LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The time for LeBron to compete in the slam dunk contest was when he was in his mid-20s. It could have elevated an otherwise mundane All-Star Saturday night. That ship has sailed now, and he's at the point in his career where it doesn't make sense to push his body for meaningless stunts like this.

It's a shame he never participated even once in his career though.

I doubt that he'll do the dunk contest and I don't think he should. But I could see him doing it this year more than previous years just because there has been a lot of talk about him slowing down and losing his lift. I still don't think he does it though.

21-12 with James, 1-7 without now?

Amazing even half-ass Lebron can change this team from a lottery team to a contender.

..and some on this board early on were saying Lebron wasn't the best player/MVP of this team

The only way I can see him doing the dunk contest is if the All Star contest is in Cleveland. But he will be 33 in 2018. Lets see. Imagine him doing the dunk contest though. The hype!

Was it just me, or did it seem like LeBron was taking LeISO to a whole new level tonight?

I'm not saying it wasn't effective. He shot well, and sometimes he was taking advantage of mismatches. But if there was any time the ball stuck... Somebody help me out with some stats.

LeBron's numbers looked good...however I thought Le-Iso was almost the worst I have ever seen it. He killed the offense multiple times.

Last night was definitely the longest/worst he's ever done it. You can live with it during a game last night when we were actually playing defense, but I hope he cuts it out when we play more up-tempo teams.

My least favourite LeBron moment was when he airballed that 3 after waiting 15 seconds and jabbing his foot randomly... He was being guarded by E'twan Moore... Come on man, drive on him. I hate that he never takes advantage of the mismatches presented against him. He's been terrible when smaller defenders have switched onto him.

I think the biggest problem with LeBron is he always seems to default to "conserving energy" mode, unless there's something to set him off. It's really easy to tell when he's in all-out attack mode and when he's not.

Lebron played with effort but he was taking some REALLY stupid/rushed shots and killing ball movement to a ridiculous extent. Not sure what his deal was but let's hope it was just an aberration given how well he has played of late.

I will say he was active defensively and on this team, that's probably more important.

I think leiso is here for the season in a big way until he trusts the offense. My thing for LeBron is he sets the worst screen the entire nba. I wish he would just make contact before popping. It's just a waste of time. The rest of it I can live with

He was obviously trying to draw the 3 seconds call. Look at that play again. It should have been called too. Still poor possession

Yeah, not happy with LeBron looking more selfish than usual. It has to do with trust. Slowly he will start to trust the team more. He just always thinks he's the better option. It's usually true but c'mon move that ball sometimes

This is called a telekinesis screen.
