LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm a little worried about his turnovers. He is still adjusting to new teammates/system, so I am not hugely concerned, but that does not excuse the dribbling off of feet and careless ball handling. For medium to high usage (>20%) G/F, he is 5th out of 97 qualifying players in most turnovers per 100 possessions. Take away the two Philly guys and he is 3rd.

I was thinking that too watching him make some careless plays, but taking a step back I'm really THANKFUL we have not only an elite talent at SF but an elite talent at SF who can distribute the ball at a high level (far higher than any of the PGs on the roster, even with the TOs). Point being, this is a guy 6'8" and 250+ doing all this maneuvering.

A "quality" post from realgm in response to a thread asking who would win in a series between the Dubs and Cavs.

As if those guys would be able to slow LBJ, the best player in the league and participant in the last 4 NBA Finals, but no one on this roater can slow down Klay Thompson's overrated ass. :chuckle:

I would love to respond to this post if I wasn't permanently banned from that site.

Funny thing is I'd agree with that RealGM post if it was the beginning of the year. Of course things change

Now that we have Shumpert and Kyrie's defensive improvement, the tables have switched in terms of perimeter defense. Particularly if Bogut is hurt, we can run lineups of Moz, LBJ, Marion, Shump, Irving which puts a defensive stopper at every single spot

Exactly. Cavs are on an 11-game win streak, and people still aren't recognizing the contributions of the new guys. They're also taking LeBron for granted, which, in the postseason, is the best possible scenario for the Cavs. I hope he barely sniffs the MVP trophy. He'll go on the warpath.

Not sure if he got this as a question or if he brought it up himself. But James brought it up then I would be expecting someone to make a move the bench soon.

It could be an interesting experiment, sort of expanding what Blatt is doing now with resting Lebron halfway through the 1st, especially against weaker teams. Start with a lineup of JR, Shump, Marion, Love, and Mozgov, which should be able to at least hang with the starters of .500 and below teams. Then bring in LeBron and Kyrie at around the 3-4 minute mark to destroy the other team's second unit through the end of the first quarter and the first half of the second.

(I'm kidding of course but I would be curious to see it done once just for the lulz)

Nice sentiment from LBJ....but no he wouldn't lol
Yeah, it's the same as when LeBron said he'd take a 0 point game if it meant the team wins. That's such a bold faced lie and everyone knows it. This is the same LeBron that currently has an active 683 conescutive game streak of scoring double digit points. This is the same LeBron that compulsively checks his stats at halftime and when he goes to the bench for timeouts.

- Best part of our streak is the defense. We've bought into what the coaches want, over and over again. We keep working at it.

- Communication and trust are the keys on defense.

- Whatever benefits the team I'm for. I think the rest of the guys are starting to understand that (attitude).

- I'll come off the bench if necessary. To help the team. I'm serious.

- Sacrifice is the biggest word in team sports.

- Tristan is doing great for us.

Damn Lebron sounds really good in that video, what an Improvement.
