question: does Lebron still come back if Mike Brown is the coach? it sounds like he wanted to come back no matter what, but i have to wonder if Mike Brown would've kept him away.

I was told that he wanted to come back, and knew it about two years ago. But, about mid last season his thoughts on how things were going here were making him wonder if it would be later, rather than sooner that he could consider coming back. I think all the moves we made absolutely had a positive impact. Within a few days of the Heat losing to the Spurs I got my first strong indication that Lebron was leaning towards coming back, though. It wasn't long after that, that I heard rumblings of Kevin Love being a part of that equation. I posted that not long after I found that out, actually..

Given all that, you never know for sure what factors can come into play that change all those plans. I was honestly getting worried in the past 24 hours that something might be factoring in, that I nor anyone had anticipated.

yeah, i really wonder if Lebron would've come back if Brown were still here. Hiring Blatt was the right move either way. I think he'll be the perfect coach for Lebron this time around. Should bring a lot of maturity and professionalism to this team - maybe even help Lebron to mature even more. Good call this time, W&G - when you posted about Wade a couple of days ago in the safari thread, i was pretty confident that it was going to happen. i swear, i'm not even bothering with the media anymore - the sources on here are more reliable - haha. though i started to doubt things yesterday after all the delays.

LeBron is a big fan of Mike Brown. He doesn't really care who the coach is though.
