he ended up being an absolute fuckwit again, along with his dumb babymomma and they got kicked out, but lets see if I can remember:

Her mother (who is immature enough to think its cool that she identifies with Gemma from sons of anarchy, and is a bad enough person to think that this is a good person to identify with) manipulates the family, guilt trips madison into considering it because he is homeless and jobless. Madison says the right thing "thats his problem hes a fucking idiot, why am I suffering?" and the problem is off the table.. Until mother announces one morning, 'btw corey is moving back in tomorrow'. She is given no heads up, and she has no car or money, so wtf is she going to do? deal with it. She TRIES being ok with it by rationalizing with the mother's depression (manipulation move) and the source of it being 'my child is going to be homeless with two kids and its making me miserable. Its the only thing I want and it would make me so happy".

She's obviously not ok with it and never goes in the same room as him while he's there. He still does creepy things.

The problem is she wasted all that money and progress she made with me.. She had to turn somewhere for support and her mother was more than willing to give it to her because she was getting her daughter back after I 'kidnapped her'. Of course, this family is the same that has allowed 3/4 of the kids to drop out of highschool so you can imagine how much they pressed her to keep up with her progress.

Oh also, mother makes sure to live in the southern most tip of san diego, a good 20 miles away from any realistic place of work for madison and community college to attend, further strengthening her hold over the girl and dependency. She has no money or way to get to school, she has no way out, she is stuck at home.



i dropped her off back at her house today and the stepdad and mother had a conversation with her and blamed her for making the mother put a gun to her head. Its an insane asylum.
 
You wrote that you felt more like her dad a few times back, and it would seem that that is what she needs right now. however, that is a shitty, shitty role to have in a relationship and if you are going to be that father figure to her, and by that i mean install some much needed stability in her life, you're going to have to go all out. I'm talking real fucking hard ass, no bullshit parole officer style father figure to make sure that she fucking gets it. it seemed in your earlier posts that you were slightly teetering between boyfriend/dad/friend status and from what I've read what she really needs is a sense of stability, so you probably have bite the bullet and be a hard ass about it. it fucking sucks to be that dude, not only to her but also to yourself, but honestly it sounds like that's what you have to do to help her. either that or cut all ties and wash your hands of the whole thing.

then again, I'm 22 so what the fuck do i know.

Well, if you want to look at it from the perspective of the actual thread title "legal advice", I'd say that route has the potential to create a lot of legal problems for Dave K. He's not her father or her guardian, and trying to play that role could end up backfiring on him in a big way. Better to play the "uncle" role and limit his involvement to advice.

Or maybe the "pervert Uncle" role would be appropriate label here. That may fit Dave better anyway.
 
Essentially kidnapping an 18 year old you've banged because you've decided her parents aren't good for her? Might be overstepping...
