I don't think a single loss has made me feel more angry than this last one against the Kings. And the Cavs lost by over 40 points the last time they were there. I hated the WHOLE idea of "playoff push" last season. Dion (and some of you will be mad at me saying this) should have been traded WAY earlier. There should have been no Bynum, no Deng, no Earl Clark, and no Jarrett Jack. I really would have loved a more organic run to the playoffs, even if it meant lottery for one more season.
This team is so embarrassingly bad I'd rather be a fan of the current Knicks and the 76ers. Particularly the latter, since they're actually putting forth effort whilst tanking. They have gotten every single break known to man but neither the front office nor the players themselves can do what's right to win. And really, the latter gets more heat from me.
I wouldn't be mad at Kevin Love if he could score before the team has already lost.
I wouldn't be mad at Kyrie if he realized there's more to the game than scoring.
I wouldn't be mad at LeBron if he never thought he needed "Chill Mode" (or that he's a surrogate GM).
This team has turned into what I didn't want after The Decision. A mess of ill-fitting and stubborn players who get blown out by bad teams, overly dependent on ONE player. Teams that used to be afterthoughts, never thought to contend -- the Raptors, the Wizards, and the Hawks have actually built themselves into cohesive teams. Contenders even. And lest we forget, the Chicago Bulls are looming.
The Cavs have "The Best Player On The Planet" and they still look like the same old crap we saw after 2010. This is unacceptable. I doubt a coaching change or personnel change will fix this. The chickens have come home to roost... again.
