Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Look, it was possible to win .600 of the games last season when Kyrie was out on 2K. No Andy, No Kyrie. Literally playing Donald Sloan and Jeremy Pargo at the point.

The 2K community is a landfill, you don't need Kyrie to win on there. Just move the ball.

Yeah 2k is a joke. Last game I had tt with 30 points and varejao with 22. Combined they just missed 7 shots. Always the same:take your pg and get the ball to the bigs if you don't get a three.

Anyway, bennett is the best under 75 points plsyer in the game.

Worst case season. My prediction is 8th spot in the lotto with them getting pushed down to pick 10. That will complete the season of ass.

:chuckles:...to get the 8th spot and be pushed down to 10, that means TWO teams from spots 9-14 need to be chosen. The odds of that happening are 0.8%.

Should be another much needed loss for the tank. Then Jack does that..

Fuck the refs. That's all. I never see any other sport where they alter games this bad.

Amazing, I emailed my exact same sentiments about The Bullshit Whisperer to Silver.

I mostly stopped posting months ago because I realized....I just hate this team. Don't like our front office, don't like our coaching, don't like most of our players. It feels to me like they blew the rebuild.

* There's a chance that as these core players get older they will improve so much that it'll turn out we've got a winning core...but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.

* Maybe this FO has what it takes to figure things out and building a championship organization...but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.

* Maybe they can land a free agent or big trade that will make all the difference...but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.

* Maybe they'll pull a Top 3 lottery pick out of their asses this year...but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.

* Maybe this team can become fun to watch by next year and I'll enjoy watching Cavs basketball again...but I wouldn't bet heavily on it.

PS: Maybe Mike Brown can figure out how to be a good coach....nah, now here's one thing we can all agree on: No Fucking Way.

I agree with a lot of that. This team is tough to like. I'm very indifferent towards most of the guys on our team.

lol on the "tough to like" bs. They win 50+ games next year, you will be in love with them.

Exactly. It's tough for me to see where the growth is going to come from on this team. It's going to take some major moves to get me feeling optimistic about this team.

First would be canning Mike Brown. This team should not be so unexciting. There is nothing to like about this team, they are unlikable and that's got a lot to do with their orchestrator. Luol Deng might be injured, but you can see how we misused him. I have never seen Deng look so lost in my life.

Just because Hawes can make threes, doesn't mean anything when he's a matador defensively and gives all the points right back. Tristan has looked like total shit even if he's averaging a double double. He was a much more dynamic player last year, and for being young and athletic and having the multiple jumping ability; he's pretty fucking unspecial defensively.

Eventually Varejao will wilt away, he's still a hell of a player, and one day in the near future we're going to have to take a loss on him. He can't play forever.

Zeller has looked better, but he's still soft and I'm not sure it's anything the weight room can solve. Bennett is our only hope, and that seems like a long shot proposition. His confidence was fractured from day one, and all the jumpers he's clanged might require forced amnesia.

Then we're stuck with Jack, who is a complete and total jackoff. He might be good in a playoff series, but Delly has 5x the heart of this blood sucker.

And we still don't have a legitimate second star, and our push for the playoffs will probably end up netting us the tenth pick in the draft. In the most talented draft in mannnny years.

Two years ago we looked so promising, everything was on the upswing. I'm convinced the moment we drafted Dion Waiters the whole thing started going down the toilet. That was the first wrong move was pairing two scoring guards, and thinking Dion was Dwyane Wade and not a poor man's Monta Ellis.

After that, Re-Hiring Mike Brown severed a leg. Signing Bynum, Jack and Clark was a tri-fecta for the ages to compliment cough cough and enable the new coach. Then we draft Bennett and allow him to come into camp 30 pounds overweight. Fractured his confidence and started him off on the worst possible pro entrance of all time.

Look at what the Suns are doing. Bledsoe and Dragic play very well together. Had Bledsoe never gotten hurt they'd be sitting comfortably in the playoff picture in the West. You can play 2 penetrating scoring guards together. All you need to make it work is good floor spacing and good coaching.

And it's too early to tell what Dion will become. He has all the talent, which has been evident since Day 1. Don't understand why you're so down on him.
