I guess Harangody's numbers show that you can't put too much stock in D-league stats.
Of course, with the Cavs' lack of depth at SG, Harris could help us.

I was looking for a thread that might discuss this, how'd Thompson look? I was thinking that Manny would be a needed body with Parker and Boobie down.

Thompson was solid tonite. Played the whole 4th qtr and slowed down Ray Allen who was hot. Also, knocked down a couple of jumpers. Has a sweet stroke.

Harris honored: Former Cav Manny Harris, currently playing for the Cavs D-League team in Canton, was named the NBA Development League player of the week for games played from January 23-29. In three games, Harris averaged 25.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.3 minutes per contest.

Manny has a solid game tonight leading the Charge to a victory in Canton. Finishes with 21 pts (on 10 of 14 shooting), 14 rebs, 4 asts and 1 stl. Sooner or later, the Cavs will have to figure this thing out. Over his last 9 games, he is averaging 20.6 ppg.

I'd cut Mychel Thompson now and bring Harris back.

I bet the Cavs would be able to sign Thompson to the Charge as well if they wanted to.

Yes. He is under contract to the Charge not the Cavaliers.

It still is the D-League. Just because he does well in the D-League is no guarantee that he will be great in the NBA, right ?

I'm sure if we really wanted Manny, Byron might get his wish. I would trust Byron and the Cavs.

I cover the Charge and can tell you the Cavs better figure it out quick because there are a few teams with high ranking front office guys scouting him over the past week or so. He is being highly spoke of. This will be a situation the Cavs might regret waiting so long on. I could see Manny getting signed by an NBA team in the next week or so. My Prediction: NY Knicks

you guys seem t forget how well mychel thompson did in his 5 games of d league. Manny is also 23rd in scoring average .

We have both of our 2 guards out, Harris has played on our team and could likely just step in and start without being lost on the court if they continue to be out. Thompson doesn't look like he's ready. And if the plan was to bring Harris back, we need to do it soon before another team decides to get him.
