Mark Jackson is a moron

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm glad I watched the game on FSN. Can't stand Mark Jackson. Can't stand JVG. Too many idiots.

JVG is actually one of my new favorite commentators... sure, he's not that intelligent, but he does provide plenty of comic relief. :D

I used to like him cuz he says random funny shit, but then he starts complaining about stuff that is blatantly not true and I just develop such hatred...

I don't understand why people here are so sensitive to ESPN commentators. The fact is that Boston and LA have won titles recently. They do deserve credit for that. It is natural for people outside of Cleveland to give those teams the benefit of the doubt. Cleveland never has closed the deal. It's easy enough to say that the Cavs are the best team. They might be. But, they'll have to prove it. Let's face it. Losing to Orlando last year even though they had HCA and a 66-16 record didn't help their perception nationally.

i found it interesting that barkley said thursday that LBJ is hands-down "the best player in the world" while the GREATEST kobe jock-sniffer, kenny smith shook his head no...

I know people are entitled to their opinions but sometimes i want to throw :tomato: at my T.V.

Atleast one Cavs fan has common sense.

Everybody's obsession on how the Cavs, who hasn't accomplished anything in the playoffs, are perceived by everybody else is quite sad...

Until the Cavs prove something, why should anybody consider them above the last two teams to win NBA titles? Regular season wins mean nothing.

Until then, you should look in the mirror and see how pathetic topics like these are.

^ Doesn't change my opinion that Jackson is a moron. :chuckles:

This may be true for the average fan.

However, not only were most commentators players/coaches, this their full-time job! What value do they add if they merely tell people what they already know? Any person that follows the NBA in-depth would see that the Cavs are different than last year. It is laziness on their part to simply point to last year, as if the team were exactly the same. Does it mean they should pick the Cavs for the Finals? Absolutely not. But if they immediately say Celtics-Lakers without giving justification, it gives us reason to suspect their reasoning abilities. Plus, commentators nearly always trumpet the popular opinion because they are so afraid of being wrong and having it caught on tape.

Then it's a good thing i fell a sleep watching that game. I dont know about you guys but i rarely watch ESPN anymore and when i do it's to see if they are going to talk about the Cavs or a game is on.

^ Loll, Bruce Blitz is a fucking psycho and gets obsessed with way too many things/people. It's unhealthy.
