Mark Jackson is a moron

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JVG is actually one of my new favorite commentators... sure, he's not that intelligent, but he does provide plenty of comic relief. :D

Obviously from my avatar you can tell I'm a big JVG fan. Not necessarily as a coach or anything, but he's a damn funny commentator.

Sometimes I wonder how I can like one person so much and hate his brother so much at the same time. I have the same problem with the Rick Bayless/Skip Bayless situation. It eats at my soul.

But Mark Jackson is just having a hard time coming to grips with his comments that Kobe is greater than Michael Jordan, while Kobe doesn't have nearly the resume to hold up. He's been riding Kobe pretty hard the past few years calling him the greatest ever, and he's reluctant to give Lebron the benefit of the doubt. He just sounded downright depressed admitting at Lebron is the MVP this year. :chuckles:

What's new? everyone knows that Mark Jackson is a Kobe cocksucker.

i found it interesting that barkley said thursday that LBJ is hands-down "the best player in the world" while the GREATEST kobe jock-sniffer, kenny smith shook his head no...

Oh yeah, Kenny Smith is another Kobe cocksucker too. He has always tries to discrediting LeBron's style.

If anyone watched the C's & Magic yesterday, Jeff Van Gundy was shouting some serious love for the Cavs.

They were talking all game about who was better, the C's or the Magic this year, and JVG kept saying "it doesn't matter because not a single team in the league is going to beat the Cavaliers." :D

He was talking about how the Magic and Celts have been having ups and downs, and that's normal for most teams, because "The Cavs and the Nets are the only consistent teams in the entire league. The Nets are consistently awful, and the Cavs share the ball and the workload so well that they are consistently good."

I never watch ESPN either. I pretty much can't stand any of their commentators or analysts except for Jeff Van Gundy. I think he's pretty funny. Brent Barry is horrible. And Tom Tolbert, I'm not sure if he still does games but he always did this jerky sarcasm thing when calling a game. Yeah, that's what I want. A sarcastic commentator. Hubie Brown bugs me because his voice cracks sometimes like he's a 95 year old man going through puberty.

I think you meant Jon Barry. That guy is an absolute douche, period. Talk about an insufferable know-it-all, and the only tool that gave D-Wade an MVP first place vote last year over LeBron and Kobe.

oh yeah, you're right.

Brent is on NBATV and he comes off as very humble and knowledgeable. Chris Weber gives the perspective of the players very well. I am glad that Shaq will be replacing the jet soon.

don't forget my favorite commentator tim legler, who, after we traded for mo, said it did nothing to help us and how we were still a "42-win team." LOL! how'd that turn out tim?

I also cant stand the alien...Reggie Miller.

There is just so much during the duration of a game that I dont agree with, although his sayings aren't as annoying as Austin Car's I can just imagine Chuck Ernie and big gums laughing at his horrible calls.

He is just horrible and has pumpkin teeth.

Subjectively, how much credit do you give Kerr for this season, as opposed to Mark Jackson, or to just randomness and natural player progression/growth? Followup question: Would the Warriors be playing in the finals right now with Mark Jackson?

Kevin Pelton (12:55 PM)
To take the second question first, probably not. When three guys on the same team develop as quickly as Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson all did, it's probably not a coincidence. They've been put in better situations to succeed than they were last season with Barnes and Green on the bench and Thompson playing primarily off the ball, and that's precisely what coaching is all about.

I'm watching the Lakers/Nuggets game right now on ESPN... Mark Jackson just gave his midseason predictions. The funniest part would have been his Finals prediction of the Celtics vs. Lakers... until he declared LBJ the MVP over Kobe "in a photo finish." :chuckles:

He also took a dig at the Cavs saying the LeBron gets the nod because he carries the Cavs on his back in every possible way. How long is this national perception going to last that he still has no supporting cast? And why do I let this nonsense bother me???

It still goes on today and will go on forever.

Or until Melo or Wade join him here.
