Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavs need a pure Point Guard, one who can handle the ball and pass it.

Delly can pass ok, but he's not a strong ball-handler

Hopefully, there's one available in the draft bc I'm not sure who they're gonna grab in FA or a trade.

I'm starting to think we should let JR go. I mean he was a lot of fun to watch but you just can't count on him. His suspension nearly cost us the Chicago series and he came up empty in the finals until like 2 mins left to go in the final game, and it was too late by then.
I don't think he thinks he's getting more than 6. He wants more money overall over more years. He'll probably do something like 3 years 15m. Also he stunk in the finals but he hit so many 3's in the Chicago and Atlanta series to help us win. I don't think we win both without him.

I really wish we kept dion waiters to play with delly. We need a cool head. Mills is a loose cannon.

Mills is a defensive liability and has sustained an injury. Dellys efficiency rating was great when teamed up with Dion waiters.

We should seek out a dion type asset to compliment delly. Maybe not Dion, but someone like him. Thanks

It's a trade so he has no say, the Spurs need to dump Splitter's contract to make a run at a max free agent, Mills and Delly are the starting back court for the Aussie National Team and like playing with each other, Cory Joseph proved he can handle backup point duties...

Joseph played well during the year and showed he can handle the backup duties at times but he was unplayable in the Clippers series as he really struggled to score at times.

I don't think the Spurs would trade Mills considering Parker's slowly turning to shit and his current contract makes him slightly undervalued. I'd also add Mills plays more of the SG role for the Spurs as Manu/Kawhi generally do all the creating for the 2nd unit. That's not to say Mills can't create it's just he's never had to be consistently relied on to do it because of the Spurs system.

It more depends on what the Cavs need and how the rest of the roster is constructed. Delly is a solid and more consistent defender but Mills is a spark plug.

Your troll-fu is weak!
Mills has improved greatly, is a good burst shooter, a pesky defender, but not a traditional PG.

Not trolling. Ive seen mills launch from the 3 point line with zero defense in front of him. Legit concern.

I think it's a buy low time on both Mills and Splitter. In 2014, the Spurs don't get through the playoffs and beat the Heat without them. They seemed like untouchables moving forward. Then we find out Mills blew out his shoulder right before the finals. Kyrie, Varejao, and Splitter all play in the 2014 FIBA world cup in the summer and seem to be exhausted for most of the NBA regular season this year.

What if it was FIBA's fault these guys didn't have the stamina this year? Obviously with Mills, his shoulder injury was the reason for the down year. But if these guys are finally healthy? Damn.
