Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Maybe we need to trade for a backup pg (use a pick and our exception) and start Delly at sg. I think he might be a perfect 3 and D guy for our starting lineup with a bonus of ball handling.

I agree with starting Delly. But we're in desperate need of a big who can provide some semblance of D in the paint. No way I give up a pick for a PG before a big, especially since we're not exactly stacked with spare picks

Lead the team again with +7 if you don't count Harris who barely played; this guy is phenomenal.

Did anyone else see his defense on Durant? Awfully impressive for a guy his size.. Love Delly.

Yeah, if Blatt were to do another line up change, Delly would have to start.

He was the key to the late run tonight and of course the win against Toronto.

It will be nice when Mike Miller gets back so we can slide him into the starting lineup and have Delly and Marion coming off the bench to reduce KI/LBJ minutes.

Who fucking cares about the actual geographical details of Delly's home. If you're from England, all American's sound like Texas. And if you're from the USA, all Australians are from the Outback.

Outback Jesus is here to stay!

Just get Marion outta there, Marion was a must tonight just to guard Durant, he's really bad on offense and i'm not sure his defense is that good anymore

I was thinking this the other day and thought about why we have AJ Price on this roster, when Aaron Craft is in the D-league and almost made a staked Warriors team. A backup point guard on this roster, just needs to bring energy and defense, which is what exactly craft brings.

Craft is like Delly, but he can't shoot lol. Kinda redundant.

Here's something that I'm throwing around in my brain lately, and I'm not sure how to answer it myself: How do we compare the value of someone like Dion to someone like Delly?

They are almost like polar opposites in what they bring to the game: Dion can be explosive or a huge negative out on the court, whereas Delly is almost always a positive but lacks some of the high-level skills that Dion has.

Although Dion hasn't exactly had a sterling reputation around the league this year, Delly is still a relatively unknown commodity (but he's changing that quickly!).

Who is more valuable to the Cavs, and how does that influence our personnel decisions moving toward the trade deadline and into next year?

Mike Miller (/James Jones) is just so bad on defense i don't know how you can make that change and still expect to become a solid defensive team. despite our recent improvements, rim protection remains a big weakness and making Mike Miller the starting SG would only emphasize that.
that's why i wouldn't mind trying Delly as the starter, he can knock down corner 3s and unlike Miller he can defend opposing perimeter players.
