He's a 29-year-old guard who played college ball at Temple University. He went undrafted in 2009 and has 31 career NBA games under his belt, all of which are with the Phoenix Suns during the 2013-14 season.

Most of Christmas' time professionally has been played overseas.

Cleveland waived Mike Dunigan to make room for Christmas. The training camp roster is back to 20, the maximum the league allows.

Christmas was hanging in the Cavaliers' locker room following the team's 115-114 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night.​

Sounds like he's a replacement body for JR Smith right now.
