Mike Brown, Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You take the best pick n roll PG of his generation, the best one on one player of his generation and try to fit them into the Princeton? I'm baffled as to why that didn't work out.

5 games into the season with Nash injured?

Romeo has an opinion on drowning your job sorrows in chicken. Keep your chin up and fork down, Mike Brown!

I think Romeo had a different way of drowning his sorrows:

I was pretty sure that is the offense Kobe wanted, but I could be wrong. Either way the team is old, and the young player on the team just came off back surgery. Is there any wonder as to why they suck? I'm thinking that other than a Phil Jackson return this team is not going to be a contender this year.

They should consider dusting off Larry Brown. That would be fun!

Whatever they do, the big whale hanging over their heads is they need to convince Dwight to sign with them.

Man, if Phil Jackson returns, what a story that would be.

It would be almost a quarter of a percent as good of a story as LeBron returning to Cleveland. Oh and since Dwight, Nash, and Jamison have never played in the triangle there would be a rather large adjustment period I would imagine. Plus Phil might want to prove Kobe can't win without me so he can make a rap about it in a couple of years.

Saddest news ever. Lakers should have stuck with him after promising they're behind him "100%". He sucks and I want the Lakers want to fail at every turn on each corner.

IF they hire Scott then let's go Brian Shaw on their asses.

Id really love to see Jerry Sloan. Brian Shaw and van gundy are obvious options but i dont see either van gundy coaching Dwight howard any time soon.

Eddie Jordan is already on staff. it must of been bizarre for the team to run the princeton while learning mike browns defensive scheme for the first time. (lakers didnt install his defense last season). D'antoni is a players coach so the team might be asking for him. Flip Saunder.... I just dont see it happening.

Jerry Sloan would be my choice. Kupchak played with Brian shaw so their history goes wayback.

I dont think they will go with an unproven guy heck even a return to mike dunleavy has to be a possibility.

I wanted to add. Phil Jackson might find the prospect of taking out the heat too tempting to stay away

Jackson's legacy is completely set in stone. He literally has nothing left to prove at this point. If he were to lose with this stacked team it would detract from his legacy, not add to it.

Last time I checked, Scott has a contract with the Cavs through the remainder of this season and next. Unless I'm missing something, he can't just bail and go coach the Lakers.

Looks like Mike Brown's Christmas...

Is about to get blue.

Zenmaster is of course an easy lock for the HOF, but he would improve his standing in the "greatest ever" sweepstakes from a maybe to a definitely if he won with an unstacked team, something he's never even tried.

P.S. Yes, I'm enjoying my crow on the 72-10 thing.
