Mere semantics.

Fair enough, I retract my previous statement about lack of communication. This is no big deal.

Damn I nailed it. No big deal, as I suspected.

Let's get to work Mike.

I would seriously love it if he brought in Kubiak. His zone blocking scheme is just ridiculous. Mark my words, Tate won't have nearly the same success on a different team. Unless of course he comes to the Browns and runs behind the same offense.

Kubiak plus Hyde or that dude from Boston College would be outstanding. Well that and some kind of magic trick that gets us Teddy.

I thought Schefter dismissed the possibility.

Stated it was "unlikely". I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility, but I'd say its safe to continue this safari without Kubiak being a main topic.

Schwartz was hired by the Bills, I read.

I thought.

Derp.

Edited.

Come on Bills...

Glad we don't have whiny ass Schwartz coming to Cleveland.

Rudderless ship... Right. This screams of media-driven hysterics and guesswork. If nothing else, these tweets serve as a testament to the seriousness and due diligence put into the process by management.

Not sure why any of this information contradicts the thought that the process was indeed a debacle.

They all but admitted Pettine wasn't their first choice and the people absolutely removed themselves from the running, whether they were offered the job or not is purely semantics.

I really don't care if Pettine was the first choice. That's very overrated. I care about whether he was the right choice. That's TBD.

I agree, but fact of the matter is this organization was once again unable to sway top flight candidates for this role for the second year in a row.

They showed a clear lack of direction throughout almost the entire process.

The end result is TBD, and I do like Pettine, but in terms of the process it can be called nothing short of a debacle.

These guys have become ridiculously sensitive. Now they're blaming the media? That, they should know, will get them absolutely nowhere.
