Did the Indians draft Scott Barnes or did they get him in a trade?

Barnes was the guy the Tribe got for Ryan Garko. If he pans out in any way then Tribe really made out on that deal.

I was about to ask about Hagadone. I figure he is projecting as a reliever these days...

I'll also throw another hat into the ring, what about our draft pick LeVon Washington? When do we get to see him in action?

You're probably right about Hagadone, but I hope not. I always thought he could be a pretty dominant starter.

I don't mind if he projects as a reliever as long as White is still going to be a starter...

I thought Hagadone walked too much? I always remember at one point White was consider to be our closer? That was last year though, so who knows.

Hagadone does have walk issues from what I know which is why he'd project better as a reliever I'm betting. Not sure why White would be a closer when we have Perez now.

If we're contending late, White could be brought up to strengthen the bullpen but we obviously want to keep him as a starter.

Indians Drew Pomeranz named Carolina League Pitcher of the Week.

Also traded Yohan Pino to Blue Jays for cash. Could mean a promotion for Pomeranz

I've seen it mentioned that Scott Barnes will get the promotion from AA to AAA to pitch tomorrow. He is 1-0 with a 1.34 ERA. We acquired Barnes for Garko. Seems like another good trade by the FO.

Barnes has been tremendous. Keep an eye out for Felix Sterling. He w not be up any time soon, but he's a legit prospect to monitor.
