Thought this thread could use a bump. I like this show a lot but I have no idea where to watch it online for free.

I find this whole Silva vs. Sonnen feud to be ridiculous. Sonnen at first was going over the top with his verbal antics but Silva has acted like a dickhead too by starting these altercations. Just wait till the fight, damn.

Sonnen is a master fight promoter imo. He builds up these ridiculous feuds with his amazing mic skills to drum up PPV and gate buys, but he does get over the line a bit. I heard Brazilian fans have been warming up to Sonnen more and more and souring on Silva. BTW, Silva got his back hurt during that altercation which is why their bout has been pushed back.

Oh really? I thought the fight was postponed because of the cut that Sonnen got during the whole thing. Regardless, these guys are idiots.

And yeah, I could believe what you said about Brazilians souring on Silva. I don't think they'll ever forgive Sonnen entirely but Silva is embarrassing himself and his country.

Also that dude who sucker punched Chael multiple times was an assistant coach of Silva and should be banned from the UFC imo. Chael and Silva's brawl was uncalled for but what the assistant coach did was reckless.
 
Bump. Two months with this thread without a post with all that has gone on is unacceptable.

Throw this in here, but Gennady Golovkin fights tonight on HBO. A real knockout puncher, who specifically fights a style that looks for knockouts.

* Matt's a warrior and has the heart of a lion. Fight went down about how i expected though. Heart and determination will only take one of these athletes so far. Looked like he broke his hand somewhere in the fight. He wasn't throwing it with confidence and was coming in with a bunch of Elbows.

* Johnson looked CRAZY good. Little Nog is a shell of what he used to be but still has an iron chin. Rumble made him look like an amateur. He should have made the move to LHW a long time ago. Those 60lb weight cuts were killing him.

* Bermudez is the real deal! I didn't think much of him after his stint on TUF but he has really rounded his game out. He's a legitimate threat on his feet now as well as the ground.

* Brian Ortega is another up-and-comer to watch out for (9-0). He looked impressive Saturday night as well. The FW division isn't very deep right now and could use some new young blood.

Nick signed a new 4 fight deal and this fight will take place at middleweight. Iv'e met both of the Diaz brothers several times and i'm a fan as well. Nate is more comfortable in the media. Nick has anxiety issues and a lot of what he says and does comes off as shitty but he is not like that at all IRL. Nick's actually a really good guy. This will be a good fight but will be tough for me to watch. ASilva isn't my all-time favorite fighter or anything like that but no one can take away what he has done in his career. IMO he is GOAT. It's hard to argue. When MMA fighters reach that magicl number, in their mind, they can still do everything they could when they were 30 and it's just not so. Silva has a TON of money, a beautiful family and most importantly his health. I don't want to see him become another Liddell, Franklin, Penn but it's inevitable. I'm not saying Nick is going to beat him but ultimately, he's going to fight way past his prime and take a few beatings before he hangs them up for good.

Lol, rooting for DC so much in their title fight. Jon Jones is annoying as hell. I respect him as a fighter but damn I hate him outside the octagon.
