Got it at the Wal Mart in North Olmstead last night. Can't wait to get on tonight.

“Registration requests for our new live service Call of Duty Elite are exceeding even our most optimistic expectations, which is creating a bottleneck and some players have not been able to register,” Beachhead studio head Chacko Sonny said in a statement. “We have already registered hundreds of thousands of players and we are working around the clock to increase our capacity as quickly as possible.”

They're working on it

What's up with the Elite thing? Is it like improved online play or something?

I've got about an hour under my belt. Really enjoying it thus far. Seems much more realistic and people don't know where to camp yet.

I believe they have gotten rid of campers with the fact that the other teams names show up more easily. Everyone is more visible. You can still camp, but when someone just glances in your direction, your name pops up over yourself on their screen.

The Kill Confirmed game mode is AWESOME if you have the right people in your lobby. I had a couple of my friends with me and we were playing against the same kids for 5-6 games in a row. We were so evenly matched that every game was decided right at the end...no one won by more than 3 kills. Has great potential as a team based alternative mode.

The maps were designed to eliminate a camp heavy atmosphere. There aren't many strong points on maps.

Even though it's kind of cheapish, I like the support kill streak option. Losing kill streaks in Call of Duty game has been the most frustrating thing I've experienced, and the support ones just relieve some of the tension in trying to get the higher kill streaks.

Not liking this game at all, the spawning is TERRIBLE, too many places for people to just sit back and camp, the guns suck, maps suck.

Welcome to Infinity Ward. I feel sorry for you that you spent 60 bucks on a POS that you will only play for a week and then get rid of.

After playing Battlefield for the last 8 months, it's pretty evident how badly CoD NEEDS dedicated servers.

Other complaints:
Overpowered knife (as usual)
Air Support stays up too long
Maps are very cramped. Needs more open spaces
Spawns are terrible (as usual)
Shitty teammates
Shitty matchmaking
Camping

I liked MW2 before the noob toobs, but this game is just bad. There are maps that I love to play but in this game they all suck. Graphics look exactly the same as MW2. Pretty sad that they had 2 years to make this game and all they do is add new maps, some new guns which suck and a new campaign.

I actually think it's the best game they've come out with since COD4.. They went away from air support dominating the sky so you don't have to hide from constant choppers. There are no strong points to camp, so I don't understand the complaints. Obviously there will be some players who sit back and camp in random spots, but that happens in any shooter.

I definitely think the camping is happening a lot less. I think at least a good portion of that is due to it being a brand new game and everyone wanting to learn the maps and whatnot, but there really aren't any good places to run and hide anymore. As for the point streaks, I think it is a nice little twist on what they have done the past two games.

And finally, I am thrilled as a pig in shit that they took out Last Stand as a perk (yes, I'm aware you can still get Final Stand as a death streak, but I can live with it as it means that person really sucks).

There's been some pretty hard camping in windows and such on a lot of maps when I've played. Shit gets annoying how kids put their bitch perks on and hide as much as possible. Especially when I see someone run to a corner in a room, lay down, use their heartbeat bull shit and wait for someone to come around the corner or into the room.

In black ops, I learned the maps pretty damn quickly. Posted a 2.07 K/D and 3.90 W/L ratio. In this game? Having trouble holding down a 1.7 K/D. Guess it's going to take awhile to learn these maps.

While I was in line getting this game, I looked at the 50 or so people buying it.. Told my brother at the time, "I bet these faggots all get this game and run and hide to a spot and just... wait". $60+ well spent, I suppose..
