Morris Claiborne Vs. Trent Richardson: pick a side

I started out on the Claiborne bandwagon and have been swayed to the Trent Richardson bandwagon our Offense was impossible to watch last year. The part of me that wants the Browns to be watchable next year wants Richardson the Part of me that wants the Browns to be a defensive force long term wants Claiborne. I'm gonna go with Richardson because i think he'll help the Defense more than Claiborne will help the Offense. But I wont be upset if we pick either of these guys.

I love how he bullies a guy trying to tackle him 1 on 1 and uses his elusiveness and escapability to evade groups of defenders. He reminds me of AD in the sense that 'he' delivers the hit to the defender. He doesn't wait to be tackled he punishes the defender and I don't care what anyone says when a guy repeatedly shows you that he will hit you in the fucking mouth your willingness to go in there and take him on is hindered. In the back of your mind you're wondering "am I going to get steamrolled?" am I going to end up on ESPN? The guy goes in with a halfhearted effort and likely bad tackling form (headfirst torpedo) and gets destroyed.

He also has plenty of wiggle and the ability to shake a guy out of his cleats......

I'm sold it's not even close anymore....Richardson baby!

Just to be clear, I think a lot of the people here voted based on what they think the Browns will do, not what they prefer to do. That's how I voted.

I'm really starting to think Trent Richardson is the right pick over Claiborne.

The only pick.

While I respect Claiborne's game and his skillset, Richardson is a dynamic offensive talent the Browns have been in search of for so long.

I think Trent would be the better pick, but I don't think Cleveland could go wrong if they picked Claiborne.

I am on board with drafting Richardson. Bottom line is our passing game really suffered from a lack of a run game. We had no balance what so ever. We threw the ball a lot more effectively when our play-action was a threat.

Key stat with Richardson: 1 fumble lost in 614 career touches. Alabama official athletics site claims Richardson has lost 1 fumble since 6th grade. Love it.

Lets get a dominant run game back in Cleveland. Smash mouth and a great defense should be the face of this franchise.
