this is interesting...Gibson was just ruled out of the Heat game tomorrow and didn't even travel and Thompson was waived today....who starts at the 2 tomorrow, Sessions or Gee?

Tristan and AP didn't make the trip either.

Seems like the Cavs should have held onto Mychel Thompson a little longer unless they've got some immediate plans. They could have released him any time over the next few days (in conjunction with another move), rather than releasing him first. Of course, they could also re-sign him to a 10-day contract if they want.

Its a bit odd to waive Thompson knowing that Gibson and Parker were both dealing with injuries. Looks like Casspi, Gee, and Eyenga will be playing lots of minutes Tues and Wed.

I'm not sure they knew about Gibson -- his neck injury flared up after a full practice. Still, should have waited.

If Eyenga can't get minutes in this game, he'll never play.

my guess is we see Manny Harris tomorrow

last year in his only game against the CHeat he scored 20 points on 6-14 FG 1-4 3PT 7-7FT and 5 REB

Thompson offers pretty solid defense and length to match up with Wade and Lebron. He defended Ray Allen pretty well. But yea Im sure Harangody and Casspi will do a fine job.
