Nascar post race discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Typically you have your favorite and about 5 or 6 guys you like and then about 12-18 you dislike and 3 or 4 you hate.

post race interviews and knucklehead moves are always a factor and usually they give background stories about various drivers throughout the race.

Crazy finish today....i'm glad Tony admitted his guilt for starting that wreck, completely blocked Waltrip when Waltrip had a huge run going into turn 3. Glad no one got hurt in the wreck, here's video of the wreck

YES. Love huge wrecks. Best part of the sport.

Of course, that, and people running into jet dryers. :chuckles:

Didn't he blow a tire right before he ran into it? I'll cut him some slack. It is hard to control a stock car when you blow a tire at around 150 entering the corner. Just terrible timing.

It was a rear supension malfunction, so i'll cut him some slack.

Dale jr out 2 weeks with concussion. Press conference at 11 am

yeah thats blows for Dale.

So another failure of a season for Jr.

His season was far from a failure. Junior found something to work with going into next season at least. Took him almost 5 years, but he got it figured out eventually. His first few years at Hendrick he just looked like a mess and couldn't even consistently run in the top 10. This season he was able to string together quite a few top 5 runs and was toward the top of the standings for most of the season.

Yeah, like i said im a diehard Jr fan and this was one of his best seasons in a few years. He ran top 15 all season and was one of, if not the most consistent driver on the circuit. He didnt win more races and that's what continues to haunt him. Jr and his crew chief Letarte will continue to grow off their chemistry and i think they're now poised to win the championship next season
