Well if you notice when the East looked like they were going to run away with it (literally) was when LeBron was pushing the ball and forcing the action, and the East were destroying the West at that point in time.

I would say it's pretty useless in the ASG, but when I can point to a direct correlation between one player's +/- and that team dominating the game during a certain stretch because of that player, it becomes a bit less useless.

But yeah, Wade should and probably will get MVP.
