NBA All Star Weekend

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
4 events of fun tonight. :D

I really only like the three point shootout and slam dunk contest.

The skills challenge has never appealed to me, and the shooting stars is usually hit or miss depending on who is in it.

I just really want to know why we don't have All-Star Horse and Knockout games.

I do love what they're talking about on TNT right now about the winner of the three point competition going against some of the winners from the past.

Looking like the earliest will be 2016...

I'm watching the interview with Stern and Silver right now on the NBA channel. When the beat writer from Miami asked the same question as Lloyd, Silver flat-out said "There are no plans for the All Star Game in Miami."

Pretty cool that Silver is more open to Cleveland than a place like Miami.

Aside from the obvious lockout when the CBA expires, things are looking up for the NBA. Sonics in Seattle, All-Star Game in Cleveland, LeBron in Cleveland...

Swin Cash. Great name. :chuckles:

The earliest either the players or owners can opt-out of the current CBA is 2017, correct? So we have a couple years before that happens.

Haha Westbrook looks like he does not want to be there at all.

It's going to happen. Don't worry. They made that perfectly clear today.

Oh shit, Rick Fox. Haven't seen him since DWTS.

Shockingly attractive for a basketball player. From McKees Rocks, PA. When I lived in Western PA, we called it Crack Rocks. Tough town.

Yeah, just because a woman is tall, doesn't mean she is sexy. There are ugly tall women just like there are ugly short women.
