2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
FWIW Woj said that teams are targeting Garland and Coby White high in the lottery. Maybe Garland and White go 4 & 5?

Coby White has been a prospect that people haven't been really talking about good or bad compared to the rest of the players projected to go top 8. Maybe is someone teams actually covet and then just are staying quiet hoping he falls.

Of the players projected between #4 thru #8, Ive felt that Coby White really gives the best balance of upside, college production, and has an elite attribute with his speed. His wingspan is the one negative spot for him but compared to the other guys in that range he might have the least question marks.

I would not be surprised if Griff tries to move Lonzo and Hill for a veteran which could mean drafting one of Garland or White at 4.
He also could move the 4th for a veteran and hold onto to Lonzo.
The other option for him would be to get yet another pick at 7 for Lonzo but I'm not sure he would see that as enough return probably have to be a decent player coming back.

From everything I've seen Griffin apparently loves Lonzo Ball. Also rumors are he wants to deal the 4th pick for a vet even before the news of the trade being agreed to broke. Most rumors had a 3rd team involved getting the 4th pick. He likely wants to get a vet to come in and help with the culture considering the poisonous environment Ingram, Ball, and Hart just came from. Adding Zion, and then Ingram, Ball, Hart they likely want to bring in a player who can help lead the young guys they have.

Maybe , they will need to look at a center probably. I'm not sold he loves Lonzo at all though other than his potential value in a trade

I am thinking Reddish right now and using the JR contract to move for Langford.

Damn I miss Griff

Guy gets fleeced and you miss him? He got a player who was drafted cause his dad had a big mouth, Brandon Ingram who might not play again with his health issues, Josh Hart, 3 Picks. The most valuable of which hes trying to trade for a vet. I am confused as to why you miss him.

Its not like this isn't almost the same deal on the table at the deadline. He might have gotten a little extra because Ingram has that blood clot issue. He has to hit on his picks now or trade them for valuable players.

I would be happy with that. Kevin Porter or Alexander-Walker instead of Langford would also be good. If we could land Cam Johnson or Carsen Edwards at #26 I think that would be icing.

There is a significant chance Hayes is the player taken at 4 with Lonzo and Jrue on the roster in New Orleans now and that move would increase Atlanta's interest in moving up to 5 for Culver or Hunter with Hayes being the other guy they have been reportedly high on taken, eliminating their need for paying 2 mid lottery picks. using 8 and 10 (not 8 and 17 or 10 and 17 which the Cavs wouldn't do) to move up to 5 seems reasonably possible especially with Claxton potentially available for Atlanta at 17.
Cavs if targeting Reddish at 8 would probably get him there unless somebody else is picking at 6 for the Suns who are searching for a veteran pg and a pg isn't taken there.

If we take Reddish and then Porter/NAW/Langford I would much prefer a big at 26. Samanic or Claxton would be perfect.

I think my dream scenario is still finding a way to come away with Reddish, Hachimura, and one of Porter/NAW/Langford.

I really wish the timing rules of the NBA could be changed so teams are not drafting for other teams throughout the draft. It is stupid to have a televised event where you call a kid up and hand him a hat of a team that everyone knows he isn't going to play for just because trades can't be official until after the draft.
