This series will be a classic if the GSW will be able to qualify to the NBA finals.
Both the Cavaliers and the Warriors have the loudest and most supporting home fans in the entire league, which makes home advantage very crucial and important in this finals series.
We will be able to witness the two best players in the world as for now colliding and fighting for the much coveted prize which is the NBA championship.
We will also be able to witness two very clever rookie coaches going head to head, I think this series will be very decent one.
Let's go Cavs!

:chuckle:

Where you from bro?

Additionally, the key to defending Curry is not just the initial trap but then sticking to him as he tries to return to the ball or rub off a screen for a shot.

48.9% of his baskets in the playoffs have been assisted, which speaks to him giving the ball up initially and then getting it back. Whoever defends him off the ball has to work really hard to deny him the return pass. If he does catch the ball, he has to be funneled in to the 3-22 ft area, where he's most ineffective as a shooter.

For the playoffs, he's shooting 41/98 (41.8%) from the 3-22 FT distances. On shots at the rim or behind the 3 point line, he's shooting a ridiculous 98/208 (47.1%) with a EFG approaching damn near 70%.

Defensively, it's all about keeping him off his spots. You have to make him put the ball on the floor.

In his 300+ FG attempts in the playoffs, he's an average shooter when you make him dribble to get his shot. He's absolutely lethal when you do not.

0 Dribbles - 60/109 - 55%
1+ Dribbles - 79/187 - 42.2%

Gotta make him consistently put it on the floor.

Yes.

We match up very well with GS compared to Houston. Vs GS we are bigger, stronger and more athletic.
Mosgov is better then their C both off and def.
Thompson is quicker then Green and will give him trouble on the boards.
Lebron will kill Barnes.
Thompson is better then our 2G on offense but not defense.
Curry will kill us if Irving cant get to 90%.

They wanna play small ball with Curry Thompson Barnes Livingston and Green we will throw Irving Smith Sumpert Lebron and Thompson. If we are hitting 40% from 3s just like them Thompson and Lebron will destroy Livingston and Green.

I say bring GS on.

You know whats crazy durant avg 31 points on 54fg% and still lost in 5 games in the 2012 finals, and curry aint no durant, and westbrook averaged 27 point on 43fg%. Im worried but we sure can beat the warriors

I'm not saying this is going to happen, but does anyone else think it's possible to sweep the Warriors?

We have the eye of the fucking tiger right now.

If we can somehow win game 1, there will be an immense amount of pressure on GS going into game 2 . It could snowball and GS could crack since they have had such little adversity this year. Couple that with James playing "downhill" like he did against Atlanta and it could happen. Don't see a high probability of happening but certainly possible.

I really really doubt we can sweep them. It'll
Be a challenge to win the series let alone sweep. Warriors are a very talented team.

Watching Warriors-Rockets now. I'm kind of thinking I'd rather play the Warriors. Maybe it's my PTSD from the 2009 series but I don't want to see Howard as a rim protector. The Rockets look to be better in a knock down drag out series to me. Green, Thompson, Iguodala are all good defenders on the Warriors but we have more size on them.

I kind of wonder about a team that in an elimination game comes out flat and gives up 45 first-quarter points. Contrast that with the way the Cavaliers have played in elimination games this postseason- they were well on their way to destroying Boston before Love got hurt and the game got crazy, they destroyed the Bulls in Chicago and destroyed Atlanta. Which team has the more finely honed killer instinct? Which team better understands the stakes? I think that team is the Cavaliers. And I think we have a surprise in store for the Golden State Warriors.

Do not underestimate the Warriors. Before our sweep, I thought there was no way we could beat them. After the ATL series/how Kyrie looked in G4, I feel like there is a chance, but those guys are definitely the favorite in my eyes. Their shooting individually and as a team is unreal. They also have the personnel to play solid defense even though their style is to play more high-scoring, run and gun games. Frankly, I'm just as worried about Thompson as I am Curry. Anytime a guy puts up 30 something in ONE QUARTER, you have to take note.

Sidenote: Something about Draymond Green annoys the hell out of me.

Going to call it right now; whoever wins game 1 will win the series.

We are so much more physical than Golden State. It'll be interesting to see how they react, but so far in this Houston series, any physical play has disrupted them.
