Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very carefully stating that LeBron will not go to management and then stating that he will leave is a lot of things, but positive PR for LeBron is not one of them. It's a veiled threat that coupled with his pouting around the court could easily force Gilbert's hand without ever approaching management.

I have no idea how some of you are reading that LeBron will not go to management thing as meaning a damn thing. He doesn't have to go to management if he wants someone fired, he can just do it, like when he moved to PG.

Did I miss something? Did someone write an article I should've read?

This story seems like it was planted by Rich Paul and if so, it makes sense to keep it local by using Haynes.

Using Broussard to plant this piece would mean more national scrutiny and LBJ would generate quite a bit of bad publicity.

Using the local beat writer keeps the story focused primarily in Cleveland.

Nothing about LeBron stays local. I listened to NBA radio today and that story was all they were talking about.

Ah... the "I'm leaving if you don't do what I say" move.. Well, we all knew that was the case, hence the 1-year deal.

This is LeBron basically saying, "don't forget where your bread is buttered" and I highly doubt Gilbert will.

If this weren't the team I've rooted for my entire life, I'd be enjoying this drama. I think Gilbert will ultimately blink and fire Blatt/hire Jackson, but he might not. He'd be vindicated in a way if LeBron bolted again.

I expect ESPN on the whole to carry water for their employee Mark Jackson and take an anti-Blatt stance, but I'm glad to see guys like Bomani Jones realize there's no upside to LeBron quitting on Cleveland again.

I forget what did Haynes ask Blatt? I was half asleep...

Blatt cut him off before he even finished the question.

Haynes was trying to ask "When you lost 10 of 12 how did you feel personally---" then Blatt cut him off saying "Ya know Chris, I'm really tired of all this personal stuff" then went on to discredit everything Haynes has said about the team lately.

Good thing Fedor didn't ask that. He was tweeting nothing but garbage during the game.

I think it's funny that after this Haynes published a positive story about how smart Blatt was for taking the team Bowling.

He is going on the Fan today I cannot imagine how bad it will be.

"With us is Chris Fedor, NBA expert and the premiere authority on everything Cavs. Chris, welcome."

*panicked interjection*

"GUYS GUYS GUYS WAIT. Dan Gilbert just drunk texted me. Omg omg omg this could be bad. Hold on let me tweet this real quick!"

*pause*

"Wait nevermind. It was just a typo, he said he was driving. Anyways, do you think Blatt intentionally injured Kevin Love last night because he has been playing bad defense? Or is Love using it as a metaphor that his back is hurting from carrying the team? But let's face it. He hasn't been. Cavs should have swapped him for Lopez, got beat to the punch by OKC. Is Griffin's job on the line?"
