Started watching a French show called "The Returned". Really amazing atmospheric show with just about flawless writing so far. A big reason i am loving this series so much is due to the fantastic score. I have yet to see who writes the music but, it has to be some of the most haunting soundscapes i have heard written for a series. If you understand French or don't mind subtitles - i highly recommend you give it a go.

I love the Returned. Much better than the Resurrection shit created by ABC.

The music is by a Scottish band, Mogwai.

I watched a few, it's alright. Some people love it but it just seems like its trying too hard the whole time.

Thanks for the reply, been looking for a lighthearted comedy like How I Met Your Mother or The Big Bang Theory (although both became terrible in their later seasons). Just something to watch when there is nothing else that would give you a nice old laugh without being too deep or exaggerated.

It's pretty much hit or miss. Some of the episodes I've laughed my ass off, but others I just felt like I wasted a half hour.

I love it. It isn't really anything like othr comedies. Its a different type of comedy, its hard to explain. The first season is one of the best, and there are some pretty good episodes on 2 and 3. This last season however has been terrible.

Modern Family actually isn't too bad if light-hearted simplicity is what you seek.

Season 2 of Orange is the New Black was enjoyable but I think some of the tonal inconsistencies(specifically gratuitous out of place violence) towards the middle/end of the year just didn't work. I also think Crazy Eyes is probably ruined as a character and we saw way too much of her.
