New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Really, really, really wish I could. I don't know anybody that has it, and I've searched hard to find a way. I really want to watch Game of Thrones too. Never seen either of them.

Just add a DVD to your Netflix. true Detective is out this week.

Been blowing through Orphan Black on DirecTV on demand. The plot is a bit iffy at times, but I'm enamored with the performance of the female lead. She's playing like 5 totally different characters at this point and unless I really stop and think about it, I forget it's the same actress. She's that good.

Tatiana Maslany is the actress, and she is tremendous in pulling off each character so they feel completely different. She is in almost every scene, often with more then one of her characters. Not only is she playing all these different characters, but, there are also scenes where she plays one character pretending to be another one of the characters she plays. It's just crazy. Anyways, the season finale for season two just aired last night. I've really enjoyed the two seasons so far.

I tried to watch Justified, again, and I bailed. I'll try again in a year.

I really don't understand how you can't get into Justified. It's not the best show on TV, but I just love the characters and dialogue.

It's very much like The Wire, for me. I feel it starts off slow. Keep in mind, I believe I'm only at episode 5 or 6. It's not that I hate the characters, because I don't. I just can't cruise through that show as I can with others. I feel I need to be in the mood for something serious, if I was to watch it. And right now, "serious" isn't where I'm at. Hence my love for Louie and even The Sopranos. It took me over a year to get into pace with The Wire. I'm sure Justified is the same.

So, we get subjected to 6 years of shit stain Tara and her shitty ass mom, and then they give Tara an off-screen death and her mom gets another annoying scene or two.

And I guess these are spoilers but it literally happens right about at the credits.

Thank god this is the last season.

True Blood has been trash for years. I made it through halfway, last night. But knew within the first 2 minutes that this season has been no different than the last 3. I had a friend come over and when he saw what I was watching (he's never seen the show), but even he said it looked terrible.

Turned it off and started The Sopranos again.

I'm out on the Sookie boobies again. There was a minute last season where she whipped them out and I was intrigued. Maybe they were bigger due to pregnancy or something. Anyways back to being virtual non-factors again.

I forgot how frequent the sex scenes are in that show. My company came in right when Jason and that vampire chick got it on.... Perfect timing, because that wasn't awkward at all. :chuckles:

The dialog was like

I wanna fuck you but yoy wont let me fuck you
I want you to earn the right to fuck me.
But i really want to fuck you
Ok. Lets fuck

They get naked, all kinds of man ass. Crazy positions.

-not awkward at all.

Anyone looking forward to The Strain? I'm reading the first book of the trilogy right now and it's a pretty unique take on vampires. Definitely going to watch the show now.

Watched Episode 1 of True Detective and seriously almost fell asleep. Does it get better?
