New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think that's a cop-out. The showrunner was telling a story and he cut it off before it ended, probably just to create controversy.

It was a shitty ending. People need to just accept that. Not the shittiest ending, as Lost still exists, but it's certainly not good.

I agree. I wasn't a fan of that ending. But what can you really do.

Didn't watch Lost but I heard the ending was awful. But in every show, you're never going to be content with the ending. Unanswered questions are always present.

(Breaking Bad - what happens to Skylar, Jesse... Did Huell ever get out of the safe house?)

It was even worse watching it live. I thought my cable went out at the time. I was so pissed. Then, I came to realize that was the actual ending. Horrible attempt at theatrics and attention getting. The scene should have just ended normally, even if all that happened was the family continued to eat dinner.

Breaking Bad was always Walt's story, though. Well, Walt and Jesse's stories. We saw what happened to both of them. Yes, there were some unanswered questions, and to be honest, I thought Walt wrapped things up a little too neatly and that everything worked too perfectly for him (which wasn't exactly a theme in the show), but overall it was a satisfying ending. Sometimes that's enough, even if it did turn Walt into a sort of here that clashed with all of his development over the course of the entire show. :chuckles:

If you want an example of an absolutely perfect TV ending, watch The Shield. The only thing that sucks about that finale is that we'll probably never see a better one.

Ya, the "create your own ending" finales are bullshit.

I preferred Lost's to this, though.

Yeah The Shield was a perfect ending to the show.

Tony got shot, his lights went out. Fade to black. That's the way that it was edited from the start of the sequence. They discussed "how it ends" several other times in the final season. No other sensible conclusion can be drawn due to how the sequence was edited. Door entrance bell, Tony POV shot, etc. Members only guy on screen and in the exact place to exit ala the godfather.

Members only guy came out of the bathroom and bam.

He chose to cut it off when he did and maybe that was frustrating for some, but the next shots in a properly edited sequence would have been him looking up to see Meadow.

Except he can't cause all he sees is darkness.

Anyone seen the Anime on NetFlix called Death Note ? This is my third Anime and by far this one has the best story line. The story is surely movie material and I do hope some big studio comes and makes it into a movie.

This actually looks like its gonna be kinda good.

Well The Bridge is definitely off to a good season 2 start. On a better track than Season 1.

This is a completely different show now and it's absolutely 100% bonkers. Like The Wire mixed with Breaking Bad.

I know its old but I saw some actor from True Blood on Conan recently and always put off watching it because it looked too much like Twilight. Needless to say I am done with season 1 in 4 days lol!

My girlfriend at the time it was new got me watching it and I didn't hate it. But it gets worse. So much worse.

Keep plowing away at it and it'll become some excellent hatewatch material.

Yeah True Blood was never really a good show, but it has Dexter syndrome, as in I keep watching at this point despite the quality because I've always watched it so fuck it. Also boobs.

And by boobs, you mean Sam/Eric/Jason's bare asses. Which have made more appearances than boobs.

You like dudes... El oh el!
