Man I really hope AMC gives Halt and Catch Fire a second season. First four weeks it was up against Thrones and it didn't have a show like Breaking Bad or Walking Dead to lead in. They need to give it a better time slot or stronger programming around it because damn I love this show.

I just watched the first episode last night. Quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next 7 episodes as from everything I've heard, it seems like a great show.

Just had my ankle operated on and I'm gonna be pretty much bed-ridden for a couple of weeks. Perfect opportunity to get stuck into a new series. What do you guys suggest? Not including Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead or Boardwalk Empire because well, if you aren't up to date with them then you haven't lived.

I did not know that was on Prime. That is going to be my next show. I just finished The West Wing on Netflix (good series) so I am pumped to start something else.

Side question, and only 1 person answer this and if you have anything to add to what they say, just PM me b/c I don't want to derail the thread. Does anyone have one of those Chromebooks and can you watch shows on it like Netflix/Prime/project free TV. I already have 2 tablets and a laptop. Want to buy one of these guys to carry around for easy access when I don't need to do work.

Back on topic, I am only on episode 4 of True Detective and I love it.

I've watched the first 2 episodes. I'm not sure. I said I would make the decision based on the 3rd episode. It's not horrible, but we're still getting into the story of it.
