New TV Series to watch

Spend the past few days re-watching the most recent season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Definitely think it's one of the best single seasons of any comedy show ever.

I just finished two shows. The haunting of Hill House was real good and I usually don't watch horror shows/movies. It's a good mix of extremely solid story and bits of creepy scenes, it doesn't really use the jump scares which I think is a staple of horror shows.

I also finished "You" on netflix which was a nice surprise and a very Dexter like take on a love story from a stalkers point of view. I really liked it and hope they can take it to another level with Netflix taking over full rights of it from lifetime for season 2.

So I got my dad to start watching The Last Kingdom while he and my mom were staying here for Christmas. He's a retired English teacher who knows a great deal of English history, so I figured a show that depicts some early England history would appeal to him.

He crushed three seasons of that show in about five days and loved it.

12 monkeys is a very underrated show. The first season was good, but nothing special since it mostly followed the movie I thought. Seasons 2-4 were just outstanding to me though. It's better than just about anything i've watched this year (killing eve, the bodyguard, narcos mexico, Ozark, Westworld, Castle Rock).

Bandersnatch was another slice of tv genius by Charlie Brooker. If you have Netflix I would recommend

Watching Diablero in Netflix. Recommended for people who like SuperNatural. Watch it in the original language and not in the English dubbed.

A girl gets kidnapped by a demon. A Priest, an exorcist, his sister and a girl who can trap demons search for that missing kid.

I liked it, it's definately weird and funny. I wouldn't call it prestige tv. It would fit into Comedy Centrals lineup of comedies fairly well.

Love Black Mirror but this was a total miss IMO
