New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Netflix has moved from quality to quantity. I think they are going to hit a wall with subscribers soon. It's hard to wait for the quality tv shows that seem to take 18+ months now like Lost in Space, the Crown, or the OA. It might be years before we get another season of Master of None.

Netflix use to have their pick of British tv shows so that kept the quality fairly high but now AMC, Starz, Amazon, HBO, etc are willing to do joint ventures with BBC and other British tv stations.

They really need 12-15 shows a year that catch people's attention instead what seems like 25-30 shows and 20-25 sub-par movies. I'd much rather see a couple good movies surprise us every year on Netflix than the movies they are currently willing to produce. I tend to start a movie on Netflix and check the IMDb after 10-15 minutes in and decide it's not worth my time.

Yeah they are really becoming just show/movie mill at this point. And so many of them suck lately. It really waters down the good stuff.

I really can't remember the last Netflix Original I watched in full. Narcos Mexico?

Its been rough for about 6 months for me.

I'll probably just cancel now and re-up once Stranger Things comes back.

Netflix has good kids programming.

If Netflix goes downhill too far though, I'll tell my parents to change the password and not tell me the new one.

I feel like people would uncover old shows and tell their friends about it before. Now I think the whole Netflix library has been uncovered and binged so it hard to find that old show that is worth watching. Most people are relying more on the Netflix originals now.

I'm watching "dead to me" which is an alright show but like most shows on Netflix has put out recently, I'm trying to get thru it vs can't wait to start the next episode. I think the last show in the last 6 months that I truly binged was the OA season 2.

Sadly the golden age of tv that alot of critics said we were in might actually be coming to an end. Game of thrones might be the official end when we look back in a couple years.

Yeah HBO has been killing it so far this year.

Barry is great, GOT has flaws sure but still entertaining, True Detective was very solid, more similar to Season 1 than 2, and Chernobyl looks interesting.

Barry is such an easy, fast watch

Am I the only one that watches Veep?

Looking forward to the HBO series on Chernobyl that starts tonight.

Watched the premiere last night and found it quite gripping in the most horrifying way. It was like witnessing a violent car crash in slow motion - slowly seeing every gritty detail come into focus.

HBO is still must-see TV whether GOT is sucking or not.

The first episode of Chernobyl was really good -- difficult to watch at times because it was both so horrific, and so true.

On a side note, I'd just recently done a replay of Stalker: Call of Pripyat, which was made by Ukrainians and set in the real area. And they had the actual buildings, etc., down to a T. Creepy as hell.
