New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I keep planning on binge watching Shameless but SHO really pissed me off with Dexter and then a pretty sub par season of Homeland

Don't let that deter you. Shameless isn't a show that relies on a continuous plot like those two. It's just a story about a ridiculously dysfunctional family, and thus it can maintain quality over many seasons because there's always new shit to drudge up.

Like I said, until this season it has mostly just been a solid show. It had pretty consistent quality but was never great. I thought this season was great.

I would definitely recommend you at least check it out. I love the cast.

I have no idea what to think about it. I love the Colbert Report and think he is hilarious, with the "character" that he plays on the show. I just don't think he will be as funny w/CBS limiting him to what he can do. This is a hard move by CBS to try and get a younger audience to their channel since they are the oldest out of the 4.

It will be interesting.

Colbert is actually really interesting when he's out of character. Problem is, I'll really miss that character. :(

Anybody watch once upon a time? I watched a few episodes on Sunday and it was just too wired for me.

I actually liked the first season of Mom on CBS. I know it's pretty conventional as sitcoms go, laugh tracks and all. I think Janney and Farris play off each other pretty well. Some of the bit players were not used as much as they could have been(Matt Jones, aka Badger), and they had no idea what to do with French Stewart. I dunno if Kevin Pollack will be back in the second season, but he has great comedy timing.

I know this show looks like some normal "safe" cbs piece of shit but it's one of those things where the show totally was better than it appeared like it would be.

By the way, with next season being the final season of Justified, I can't help but really enjoy this rendition of "You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive," as was played during the credits of the season five finale.

Seems prophetic. Already can't wait for one more season of Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder.

Already love Fargo.

Agreed.

This is amazing. The casting is on point so far. Also really nailing the tone and dark comedy of the movie.
