The Gold is Golder: New uniforms to come?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
FWIW, I don't know if this is a regular practice, but the Cavs were selling mini-basketballs with the shattering basket look (as well as the light blue/black colorway). Seems like they're either paying homage to the Cavs of past by selling that style or they're testing it's marketability.

Paying homage to that era? Ughh. It did get us LeBron though.... I can pay homage to that.

Fans are of every age. The era also brought us Z. Not my favorite look, but it's part of the team's history.

It can resemble the Knicks' unis (color wise), but who cares? the knicks aren't even a basketball team anymore.

Anyway, the navy ones are cool too.
If we did these, but with navy instead of the original blue, those would be fantastic.

I'd totally be fine with having alternates in all three colors, but with this logo lockup.

I just locked up all 4 jerseys from this era. Im fine with this.

Embarassed I can't remember this(and yes prefer to ask the board rather than google search it) but are merch sales of jerseys from the team shop all funnelled directly to the revenue sharing of all all 30 NBA teams or do the Cavs stand to gain financially by introducing new jerseys?

If they do gain more than a 1/30th split, then hell yes, make new jerseys, make tons of money from us(and bandwagoners), and ignore that luxury tax all the way until the next CBA.

I'm guessing it all get split up equally though?

I don't know about the owners' share, but the players share is distributed based on service time. So Shawn Marion currently makes the most from jersey sales on the Cavs, Joe Harris makes the least.

I remember someone saying a long time ago that the new court design was meant to go hand-in-hand with our updated uni's.

More navy and inclusion of the skyline.

I would mind seeing something like what was in an earlier thread...some RCFers had their own designs that were very good. It might be good to merge the two topics into one so we could go back and see them again.
