The Gold is Golder: New uniforms to come?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm actually shocked that the Cavs didn't have any throwback jersey nights this year.

Skyline or not, this design is amazing. So I'm sure we'll go back to something awful like the Z era.

Haven't heard anything about it in a while, so I'm not sure if it's still in the works or being talked about, but at one point, the skyline was pretty much set to be on the new unis.

I know that @A Squared's version shits on mine, but I'll forever take credit for the skyline idea itself if the Cavs do use it on the jersey :chuckle:

I like both color schemes. Whichever or both is fine by me so long as the V logo is made the primary.

It is distinctive and a solid foundation with which to build a legacy.

I agree, they are unique and distinctive colors and that should be treasured. Too many teams look so similar.
times a thousand.

Love the Suns.. Odd combination and looks fucking awesome (if they do it right, which they did during the Barkeley era. Garbage now.)

How would the gold jerseys look with navy in it? I would hope they're our primary home jersey next year.

Somebody should tinker with them by adding navy and see if they pop.

I'm pretty sure it's something Gilbert has lobbied for in the past.

The rule was always that the Lakers were the only team that wore yellow instead of white at home, and Danny boy always wanted that prestige and has been fighting for it for years.

We win a ring this season? Yellow will be our new home jerseys, book it.

I know it will never happen but I think the late 80s/early 90s colors would be awesome. I wish they brought those unis out more often even if they weren't the new colors.

I think the fusion of the wine-and-gold and blue-and-orange eras is right and good. Combinations of wine, gold, and blue are the way too go. My favorite uni is still the light blue version of the original Cavs uni, with Cavaliers in cursive and the feather under it.

I'm all for the golds being our home jerseys, and alternate the navy and wine on the road.

Love those three unis. Our whites are trash. They look like undershirts.

Isn't it already known that we're getting new uniforms next year. You have to ask a year in advance, I'm pretty sure we asked right after we signed LeBron.

That's what im saying. Im also really interested in implementing some navy in them too.

Someone on the Sportslogos.net forums emailed the Cavs shortly after Dan Gilbert's tweet about the uniform. The response he received was that the base uniform set will be unchanged next year. Any new uniforms will be additional alts.

Can we just never wear the white uni's again? Cleveland can pitch in on whatever fines we get this playoffs.
