From what Ive heard from a relatively reliable source (close with the guys from SI, no OSU affiliation), the article is 100 percent coming out.
This was from a conversation I had early this week, so things could have certainly changed over the last 72 hours. But from what I know this story is still green-lighted.
Funniest quote all day re: Ray Small, came from Buckeye LT Mike Adams....'Is this because you're a nobody'
Classic.
Ray Small was the antithisis of what most OSU athletes are. He was in trouble for marijuana, lost the privilidge of his #4 jersey and constantly found himself in Tressel's doghouse. He skipped the Friday walkthrough THE DAY BEFORE HIS SR YEAR OPENER to walk around the mall, claiming he had a stomach ache. He went to the Glenville game later that night.
I have no doubt this is the type of kid who would take advantage of his football player status, and I'm sure we all know the type (those of who who've attended football schools recently).
Too much expecting things to be put in front of you, less working hard to earn things on the field....seems to be the story of Small's career at OSU.
